I know this is pretty unlikely, but what if

What if league had an in-game report system instead of an after-game report system.

I don't know how many people play competitive card games, but there are some online card game clients that allow the players full control over everything in the game regardless of rulings. If a player makes an illegal move and the opponent catches it then the player has an opportunity to call in a judge to settle the dispute.

of course it wouldn't be a judge, but a player behavior monitor.

so for example :

Players 1 - 10 enter a game. Player 1 - 5 vs 6 - 10.

player 1 thinks player 3 is trolling so player 1 reports player 3 and doesnt say anything bad to player 3 while the game is going on.

the flag is color coated based on how many people are reporting a single player. the flag will have 4 colors. yellow for 1-2 reports, orange for 3-6, and 7+ will be red. White will mean that the game is under review by a PBM.

obviously this would be difficult for riot to keep track of unless there is already a system that could take advantage of this format in the game.

I still feel that an in-game reporting system would be beneficial because riot could see where the issue arose instead of having to scrub through the replay and guess at the chat.

just because someone improves their behavior late game doesnt mean that they weren't trolling/being toxic early game and vice versa.

having an indicator report would likely benefit everyone.

That kind of system gives too much power to premades.

Not to mention a ccg is a very different type of game from a moba.
