Yet another day in Blinds
Small context; usually I don't call roles, I'm fine with whatever role I end up getting (a.k.a, I go 'fill'), and this period is just me being interested into playing some Lux.
So I joined into a Blinds game today and mid/jgl/top was very quickly taken. Nobody called support, and since Lux is a suitable Support, I pick her. Suddenly there's the fifth player coming in late, calling 'sup'. Even though 3 people (including me) said that only ADC was free, he forces sup anyway with a sup already locked in, and so locks in skarner. He never even answered on our calls that he should go ADC.
Game starts, and the party immediately begins. First up, Skarner says (when we're already in game, and I'm already with Lee waiting for Red) that I must go ADC, Then our jungle calls for a leash on red because skarner is sitting idle in bot, and skarner flat out says NO. Right off the bat, we're getting an attitude of no teamwork from him. He puts a ward in the most questionable place (eh, it's silver elo, okay.), but is COMPLETELY blind to the enemy botlane attempting to invade. I end up getting easily stunned and KO'd without being able to respond, in a situation where any normal person wouldn't be alone in. Luckily, their support got the kill, no real harm done. Until skarner 'support' then dies by the ADC twice in a row.
The game goes on and they managed to get some kills as they were getting fed. I was trying my best rowing with the paddles I had, and albeit my poor start I get a positive KDA very swiftly to recompensate for lost time (because hey, he said I should go ADC, right???). Though throughout the whole match, he keeps on rampaging saying that I should be reported for 'instalocking'. I swear, I must have missed the notice where Instalocking is an actual reportable offense, and au contraire, it was him that claimed a role that was already taken and clarified by multiple people, but chose to ignore that.
Then the Renekton in our toplane suddenly starts shouting that I am INTING/FEEDING the team (Whilst Skarner literally went 0/10/2 by that time, and I was 7/3/1), and decides to quit at 15' because 'this game was lost'. He later came back, and soon a teamfight erupts at 20', he then demands I get reported for killstealing while I'm actually trying to carry the game albeit the horrid situation we're in.
How lovely this game is. Where people try to get you into trouble for made up rules (Really, where does it say that breaking the 'calling is claiming' code, or that killstealing (in a teamfight) is something you can get in trouble for?), that I should be banned from the game for locking in support, killstealing when the whole team forces me to be the carry instead, whilst in their eyes Inting, Giving Up, and flat out LEAVING THE GAME is perfectly fine?
How I love this mentality. Absolutely making my day every time.
