i got chat restricted earlier this year. first time in many years... it was because one teamate told me off because i was defending the base while they were contesting baron and we had super minions nearing our inhib, my replies were cursive.. i get that. I was frustrated.. but I have not any othe rproblems in the past and I feel the punishment is pretty harsh, i climbed to gold 3x out of silver and got nothing for it. I thought about putting more money into the game but now i just feel like im throwing it away. anyone else feeling this way?

100 percent the ban system and report system are broken. I got banned for having a single bad game. And to top it off i guess if you put in a support ticket for review you get a bot with the ticket put on solved. they then throw in a survey to improve the system if you want an actual review from a person(or in other words actual support) but from what I've experienced and heard from so many people it seems like a copy and paste that provides less service than the bot. The system is so automated, you get banned and that's how it is, that's what they tell you. They put on the boards they cant help you over turn a ban because why? I'm calling it an unfair ban for a reason because i wasn't toxic or i didn't feed. I don't get asked why my ban is wrong instead i get told how things are, told to go back to my room and sit on my race car bed thinking about what i didn't do. Get banned you deserve it and that's how it is? 1 game can get you banned if you have 4 trolls and call them out without being toxic. 1 bad score line can get you banned because every death is now called inting when its not. After not playing this game for a couple of years then coming back and being banned for a total of 28 days after never being banned is incredible. I was wondering why streamers were calling every death an int even if it was a good 1 for 1 trade that resulted in a won team fight. I figured it out really fast. You can report someone for inting, greifing, and being negative find them the next game and do it again. 6 reports in two games from 1 person doesn't only skew the data its a completely broken system when run by bots that resulted in the Int meme. When i got my ban it first said for intentionally feeding, i logged out then logged back in to get a completely different message. The worst part about being banned isn't even the fact that i can't play its the fact that I'm banned for feeding while climbing the ladder.

i understand i shouldn't have been toxic back to them and kept my mouth shut but i just feel the treatment is rather harsh.

Dont give RIOT money IMO. Skins are a waste, especially if you have any chance of accts getting permaed for bad behavior.

rujitra likes to use the term "echo chamber", so I suppose I'll do the same - having an echo chamber of people who think they're putting someone in their place when they literally came here to express their opinion on how harsh something seems is arguably more toxic than the person you're getting up in arms over.

Especially when it's a case like this one, where there's really no need for a place to be shown.

If you're that bored, go back to Runescape, or get onto the rift so YOU can come back here bitching about honor levels after the next few games. Like, come on...I'd understand totally if this was another classic "I got banned, fuck Riot Games" shitpost, but this isn't even close.
