Reasonable Dodges....

Alright, i'm sure as well all know ranked que's can be at times considerably annoying. I say this after having just now que'd up twice in a row in ranked only to receive some random support that decides to make a troll pick. Now i think their needs to be some kind of system implemented where if i dodge because my team mate picks Zed support in a ranked que, than i'm not penalized and they are as Zed is clearly a troll pick as support. Ultimately i dodge and lose LP for doing so only so that this Zed can continue to troll the next team and the next, without ever having to fear of any kind of consequence whatsoever. Anything from anyone would be great honestly. Even if i could take a screenshot and show clearly look this is why i dodged a ranked que because of a team mate refusing to pick a champion that in anyway co-exists with their role.

playing an off-meta champ

playing a "Troll pick"

is not inherently actually bad

therefore no

You're kidding right? Zed support not inherently bad?

Yeah?

I mean, sure. Zed has no particular synergy as a support.

But Zed is safe with good poke. This means that he can help zone off the enemy ADC from CS.

Zed also has high damage and death is the strongest CC in the game.

Additionally, he's melee, so he can grab Relic Shield if you desperately want heals but why would you want heals when you can get more damage instead?

You're not seeing the point, that's like taking Soraka into the Jungle, sure it can be done but i'm not saying it can't i'm saying that Zed provides absolutely nothing that a support should provide therefore making it a troll pick.

You say:

It can be done, not saying that it can't be.

Then you say:

Zed provides absolutely nothing that a support should, therefore making it a troll pick.

And look at what I said in my first post--

Specifically

"[it] is not inherently actually bad [to play a troll pick]".

I mean... I SAID EXPLICITLY

YES. ZED SUPPORT IS A TROLL PICK. NOBODY'S SAYING IT ISN'T, BECAUSE IT IS.

NO, ZED SUPPORT IS NOT "a team mate refusing to pick a champion that in anyway co-exists with their role."

I MEAN FIRST OF ALL THAT SENTENCE IS BAD.

Second, and my actual point:

Zed support CAN WORK. It is perfectly service-able because death is the strongest CC and strong poke is a desirable trait for supports. These are things that Zed is good at.

Finally:

Just because it is a troll pick does not mean your teammate intends to troll YOU.

Frequently, troll picks mess up the ENEMY team a lot too-- and often times in my experience moreso than the team with the troll pick.

If they play ANYBODY as support and troll--even somebody who is a champion that "co-exists with their role [assigned by matchmaking]"-- they're a troll.

But a troll pick does not mean that somebody is going to ruin your game intentionally. They just want to play that character in that role.
