How do you deal with the tilted pre teen kids that come in game tilted? Theyre very annoying

mute, if you so inclined, report, move on to next game

if you are still champ select and have a bad feeling, take the dodge

i disagree i dodged a single que and a game and got a 20 minute leaverbuster so i advise never to dodge because riot is trying to make examples of players you are just giving them ammo

only if you make a habit of afk in an actual game and your Leavebuster is super high. Normally people who don't rage quit or make a pattern of leaving games don't have this problem. Dodging barely even move your Leavebuster meter.

/mute all saves all your problems or you can face them head on outsmart and outwit them and ruin their day just as they ruined yours :)

I get tilted, and I am usually pretty toxic in game. I am 27 have a good job, and am generally a nice guy outside of the game. I don't know what it is about the game and the format, but it makes me an angry person. People who say that only pre teens have issues with controlling themselves in this game are delusional. Actually I find it quite the contrary in a managerial sense irl I "flame" people as well.

I do BJJ- that is really the only sport that I participate in right now. I did sports in high school, and I did flame my teammates when they under performed. This is mostly baseball and football.

I don't want to derail this thread, but maybe this will help the OP.

Try not to think of your teammates under performing rather having a bad day, internet problems or such.

Players need to try to have some empathy exspecaily here on the internet... Maybe their dog just bit them LOL

Iron, I'm not saying you just in general !

Is there anything you do to try to rein in yourself ?

I am not going to give empathy to someone who in my eyes does not deserve it. Everyone has problems- if you decide to bring your problems to the game I'm not going to feel sorry for you. I don't care if you're having a bad day, I don't care if your mother died, I don't care about you. I care about your ability to function in the team, and if you can't function I am going to have something to say about it. I don't really care about complete strangers tbh.

you flame people for not preforming well because you think you are better then you are. the people you flame in lol for making mistakes are just as good as you. you need to realize 80% of the games you play you would win if you were better.

80%? I feel like you just pulled that number out of your ass without actually doing any assessment. If they were just as good as me they wouldn’t be making as many mistakes or very little mistakes. The type of mistake, and the situation also plays a factor. The game’s current state punishes players even more for making mistakes. I know exactly how good I am. I would talk shit to you for making such a mistake, in a pick up game of basketball, in business, and any other situation where your performance is shit in comparison to others in the game.

I'm sorry, but you saying that you are a nice guy outside of game is hardly believable if you can't empathize with a stranger, online or otherwise. There's actually being nice, then there is "being nice" in which case you're only nice if it benefits you. Using a simple example..."that lady just got robbed, but since I don't know her I don't care or won't help in any way".

Also, you cannot dictate who plays and when. If someone wants to play to cope with, say, a death of a family member or pet, by playing League, you cannot stop them.

You're better off muting all forms of chat permanently if you can't handle someone performing badly. That's my honest response and I do follow that same advice to prevent myself from flaming people in a game that doesn't matter at the end of the day.
