Got a ban yet no email?

Just tried to log in and it says i got a 14 day ban, check your email for more information. The thing is, I recently got chat restrictions and since that happened I haven't been toxic, barely said anything in my games and didn't troll/feed on purpose. I checked my email and there is nothing new from riot, spam folder is empty, so I'm a little confused.
