Can you report someone for spoiling GoT episodes?
Is it a legit reason to report someone or it's not punishable? (Some guy spoiled S08E04 in all chat)

There have been a lot of mixed answers over the past few months/years and unfortunately I couldn't find Riot's official stance on the matter.
On one hand, it doesn't directly impact your gameplay experience and it isn't exactly personal harassment akin to toxicity. On the other hand, in most cases the person is doing it just to be a jerk and that's not cool.
I fall somewhere in the middle, I'm not entirely sure how I feel on it, but if I had to make a decision I think it probably wouldn't/shouldn't be punishable. When popular media comes out (such as books, TV shows, movies, etc.) you always run the risk of people talking about it, and regardless of their intention it's just something you have to accept when you use social media or popular gaming platforms such as League.
I know some people have been punished for this recently with Endgame but I don't think that's an on-going thing, someone probably just sent in a support ticket and a Rioter chose to place a small ban on the player.
Riot can't start banning people over this, because then they have to answer way too many hard questions.
What media should spoilers be bannable for? All films/books/shows? The biggest ones right now? What counts as the "biggest".
How long before talking about possible spoilers stops being bannable for? 3 days? A week? A month? More?
This is why the onus of avoiding spoilers needs to be on the person who's...avoiding them, not on everyone else, nor Riot to enforce it. Not spoiling things is an honour rule, not a real rule.
No it's not and it shouldn't be at all.
Ye it sucks to meet unsocial ppl who take fun in spoiling stuff espcially from such hyped movies/series.
But the best thing you can do is either not go online at all or just mute ppl If you afraid of something happening like this.
And how do you know what that person says is true ? For what we all know he could be lying to piss people off. So again how do you know for sure that what that person said were actually spoilers ? And no as far as ik you cant report sombody for spoiling something although its a dick move to do so.
I wish I knew or cared anything about GoT, I would start each game with the spoilers.
Riot gave 3 day bans for people who spoiled the Avengers movie, so report them if you feel like it. They could earn a punishment.
no
Wait they don't take the time to ban people who literally int, how are they gonna take the time to do this? There's no spoiler-detection bot.
There are spoilers everywhere. If people care about their shows THAT much, they need to just not get on the internet...
if spoiling Endgame is not reportable then i really doubt spoiling GoT is reportable.
this might not be what you wanna hear but I avoid any and all forms of social media/communication until i'm caught up on something i really don't want spoiled for me to avoid this type of situation.
And who told the enemy that it was a real spoiler ? Cause like i said for all they know that person could be lying and the only reason the enemy could know its a spoiler is when sombody who saw the episode confirms it cause up till that point the enemy or sombody dint saw it could not know its a real spoiler. And i mean if the episode is out for like lets say a week by than almost everybody should have see it at least who follow the show.
Riot is not going to start banning players (customers) for discussing pop culture. I recommend staying off the Internet if this is a serious issue for you.
P.S. It wasn't Dumbledore, it was the one-armed man.
Spoiler: Maverick killed Goose.
someones league name ruined endgame for me fbm
