Remove reports completely.you have ruined more than a million games.

In every game there will always be someone that will say "you are reported" to someone else and from then on the flame starts and the game is ruined and lost.Its the worst harrasment in the game and its implemented by riot for you to abuse freely.

Reporting itself isn't the problem, just the attitude of the player in question.

they aren't, cos if they are then they would use another way to say "I don't like what you are saying, stop harassing me".

But then again, what do you define as mature?

In a 17 yr old's eye, 13 yr old's are not mature. But a 21 yr old can say the same to the 17s. 25s call the 21s immature, but the 25s aren't that mature compared to the 30s. Get my drift?

Have you ever played the game?I guess not.People threat to report someone when he is playing bad.There is no such category so they report for any other reason.

sure I have, and I've probably played this game longer than you.

Around 2 yrs ago, Riot changed the reporting categories. Back in the days there was a reporting option "unskilled player" . It allows the system to slightly adjust the MMR of the reported player against the one reporting and that was it. It was also a venting tool for the ones in rage.

Keep in mind, no one ever got banned / punished with the "unskilled player" option, but since many people don't come on the boards to read, they thought it will do something against the bad players. When in truth, it doesn't.

After the categories changed, people's behavior / habbit hasn't changed, so they keep up the same attitude "if you are bad, I'm going to report you" . Also, people now say "if I loose I'll report you".

Now, they can report for anything, but understand the system validates those reports. So false reports get thrown out, and it'll lower the report weight of the ones sending out false reports.

I am comfortable with people reporting me, cos I know it doesn't do anything to me. Since I didn't do anything against the TOS.

If people were mature, it's not hard to shrug off pixelated insults that don't do anything (other than attempts to hurt your e-pen).

The fact that there are immature players is the reason we have the option to report them.

If we didn't, they'd have free license to act however they please outside of automated detection.

I have no idea why you're complaining other than the sake of complaining.

well then they should add a report for people that are threatening to report someone that has done nothing wrong.And if they are premade the vote 3x.Also trading report should be punished,many times I've been in a situation when the opposite team says report Blizz and our team says yes and report our Ashe..If you find that this is fair then I dont have anything else to say.

That's way too specific; they have broad categories for a reason. Pick whichever is closest to "harassment."

That's not how the system works (please at least know how it works before complaining about it...). Only one report per game is required for the game to be flagged. The actual report volume does not matter. For instance, nine games reported by one person (different people, mind, not the same guy) has nine times the weight of one game where you got reported by nine people.
