Literally, they have no way out when they see one in champ select.
I mean, why did Riot create a system where these players are force into playing? How about giving them some breathing room?

Yeah I wish there was some leniency for legitimate reasons to dodge. Unfortunately it can and will always be abused and result in more pointless dodges. Might be worth it though... let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.
