Banning a person's main account because of rampant, purposeful negative behavior on smurf accounts?

I have a 'pal' of sorts, who's currently hitting plat levels on his main account. On that account, he's a pristine player, pings, communicates and plays to his best.

He has 6 smurf accounts perma-banned for rampant toxicity of just about every kind. He brags about it. He's made a seventh claiming 'Yo how long d'you think it'll take before they ban this one?'.

Would it be right for Riot to ban his main account? Because as i see it, he's getting 0 punishment for making a ton of player's lives absolute crap, and he absolutely deserves it.

Just talk him into streaming his escapades on his Smurfs, then in about 15 more permabans he might get a personal ban!

I know a guy JUST like that! He literally types "kys" at the slightest instance, spam pings, and flames everyone who makes one mistake.

I run into this more often than not, in fact the same thing happened today. A trash talking MID Xayah decided to tilt the entire team just by being cruel and mean to everyone. Taking up the chat and pings by showing death timers every time someone died. Then decides to 1v1 and plays his main account "Purfecsion" as Yasou. Continuing to trash talk the whole time. There needs to be a system in place to punish people who abuse lower elo's "Just For Fun". I run into this more often than not, and its totally unacceptable. I see more so called "Smurfs" wreck the game for pure entertainment. Its getting to the point that anything below plat is just a festival and nonsense, and its mostly players like this who choose to ruin the game ON PURPOSE.

I am pretty sure most of them are "Boosted" players as well. You can almost always see their stats take a nice gradual rise during the boosting and the a sharp fall to lower elos when they take back over lol.

P.S. The fact that he plays Yasou is not an argument I'm putting forward, there are plenty of wonderful talented players who play Yas and aren't jerks about it.

Probably not if it was just a couple of accounts but after his 4th-5th account I'd probably consider banning his main. Hes clearly not getting the message that its NOT ok and seems to think that he can get away with ruining his teammates experiences with no consequences.

That's simply not possible. Yes, there are indicators for a certain player to identify him, but what's if its a family PC and said "main" is actually played by someone else, e.g. his father or brother for friend? You log in, you are banned because "account X" did something. Collective responsibility is not a good thing and usually only finds place in dictatorships like the German Reich or North Korea - Little Tim being sent into camps because Uncle Bill did "something".

Well, I can break it down for you if you want. Riot doesn't care, at all.

Riot's mentality is that their report system will do their job for them, because of this, they've become rather lazy, yes this is an insult to the staff who thought an automated report system was any better than a Tribunal.

That being said, this person if he is so toxic, the best thing you can do is copy a video of him, and plaster it around where ever you can, make his name known, odds are he will end up like Tyler1 and just ruined by a group of perma haters.

On that note, if you think this person is so bad, you shouldn't really care, in all honesty, but plastering his name around and getting people to see just how bad he is, might set off some alarms with people, mass reports will automatically be corrected into the system, even if nothing was done wrong, if the entire team reports you, you're in for it.

They can lie and tell me that's now how the system works, but it really is, so just do that.

next time he brags screen capture it and send it to riot support. maybe it'll be viable.
