Loosing becouse of afkers

How do i deal with afking players? I am currently in bronze so afkers are very common. I just lost a game becouse of a yi that started akfing at lvl 13. I played the game pretty well, got top pushed all the way to the inhibitor but one mistake i made ended up costing my team the whole game. Playing with just 4 players feels really hard, i find it hard to splitpush too becouse then my team will be in a 3v5 or i might end up dying. What can i do in these kinds of situations?

Not much you can do other than you make sure that you're not contributing to the issue. Statistically, so long as you don't afk, the enemy team has a larger chance of having an afk compared to you.

5 of them are unknown, and 4 members on your own team are unknown.

Should you get an AFK you have two chances to turn the game around. If your team is far ahead at the time, try to end the game as fast as possible before the enemy can catch back up. You might want to try to do this even if your team isn't super far ahead, because it's only going to get worse as the game continues to be a 4v5.

Or, you could try playing defensive, holding out until the player comes back.

buy a zzrot and banner of command.

manage your side waves (know when the wave is pushing, if you don';t know how it works, youtube it) and force mid.

I don't care how bad it's looking, if you FF in ranked matches, you should NOT be playing them.

4v5s are unwinnable. I haven't seen a 4v5 won since season 5. In season 5 it was possible and quite common. Today, in season 7, just ff when you have an afk.

i don't see how anyone could say that. I'll agree things were a lot easier going back then, but I am an all-time believer in comebacks and cannot count how many I have helped make. People need to start understanding that there is MUCH to learn from a losing match and should never FF. This one was norms but pretty recently I had a 3v5 match where my team had the 2 people that actually never connected. It was 100% 3v5 and we pulled it through 55 minutes to a win. Once the match hit about 40 minutes the enemy team went from laughing about the free win to total silence til the end lmao
