What's the REAL problem

My thoughts is this game wouldn't be nearly as problematic and you would see less and less Toxicity, if we actually did something to feeders and trolls. They CAUSE the Toxic behavior.

Toxic behavior is a symptom of the way ranked is now. You can play anychamp in ranked even ones you have NEVER played and don't know how to, and nobody is supposed to say anything, You can feed, you can afk, you can troll build, troll your lane by playing it backwards or not warding at all as a support, you can take CS you can take kills and NOTHING is done to you unless you do it over and over and over again.

Be toxic even a few times because of the above actionis and BAM You're BANNED.

So lets recap, its ok to totally fuck off and lose the game for 4 other people on purpose, but its NOT ok to be mad about it.,

To me toxic isn't the racial sexual, hate speach etc...thats just being an asshole. But talking to people about why what they are doing is totally screwing you and everyone on your team, is NOT toxic.

in school, in work, on sports teams, you TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY ARE DOING WRONG. Or you get F's Fired or Benched. Here we can't do that, so we have to let peopl screw up the games over and over and over again.

But lord forbid if we get a bit testy at them.

This game is rigged , its rigged to keep peope who actually care, and are trying to win down. Because even after you win a few games in a row, the match making system puts you with Lower ELO players, the idea being you can carry them to higher ELO's too, but you C ANT they just suck you back down, again and again.

What's more likely? Players who complain about this can't accept their skill as being low, so they find conspiracies? Or there's a massive conspiracy among Riot and every game company out there to do this sort of thing?

The crux of the problem is players see others doing "bad", forget that they themselves are just as bad sometimes, and then start flaming others over it. I won't deny sometimes true trolls/intentional feeders exist. The number of games true trolls/intentional feeders are in? Way less than 5% for sure - at least in my experience and that of everyone I know. There are many of my friends who haven't even seen a single troll in games in their recent memory.

The bottom line is that players are allowed to play bad, and it's not "trolling" just to have a bad game and lose lane.

Are both problems that need to be dealt with? Yes. Is one easier to track, detect and punish for than the other? Yes.

Trolls and inters do get banned but because they're getting smarter about how they avoid detection (and because Riot wants to try to avoid punishing innocent players as much as possible) it's harder to catch them in the act compared to simple chat-related offenses. Gameplay related offenses when proven to be on purpose are assigned a 2-week ban as the first punishment. In case you don’t believe me on this point here are some examples of gameplay trolls being banned. Yes it’s just a few examples, but it proves that they do get punished.

Game does a pretty good job with AFKers. So all you're really talking about is Trolls. And Trolling is a hard thing to detect with the IFS, and I agree, it sucks. However I witness toxicity from players far more often than I witness trolling.

The reason why its SO toxic, why we have players flipping out that are middle-aged over this stuff...

Is because we feel unheard, and like nothing is being done about it. The responses we receive are, the problem is you, its not the game. Its not matchmaking, its not unfair- its only a bad game, why don't you stop raging.

We're blamed for the issue. The players who are directly dealing with this shitshow, who are the reason this game even exists, are being blamed for getting mad about the state of affairs.

Mods are standing around pulling their thumbs out of their assholes and representing not the players, but the system we feel is not resolving its massive core problems. These are CORE problems.

Yes, they are redoing matching- but that is not addressing this issue. Thats just doing other things.

You have a ton of people making shitposts about their frustration, instead of playing the actual fucking game. Like here I am, making posts trying to get some attention in order to get shit fixed- because I love the game. Hate matchmaking. Its ruining the game, literally no fun.

Your fucking player base is saying the game is no fun. THIS IS A PROBLEM. I'm posting on a forum instead of playing the fun game. Thats a fucking huge problem. I dont' want to be here. The community for me is the players in the game, this is for support. This is to fix shit, this is to address problems. This is to be heard.

I don't feel heard. I feel blamed. I feel like fuck this game.

If you're paying any attention, you guys are losing your player base. If you think new players are going to balance that out... you're fucking high as fuck. No new player is going to get placed into silver 3, get the absolutely fuck flamed out of them because they don't know what the fuck they are even remotely doing- and continue to play this shitfest. Mark my words. I've lived it, its absolutely fucking insane that it is allowed to continue.

As a secondary note. Even if players are still playing the game and suffering with this- I'll tell you what they won't be doing as much. Spending money on skins. Revenue will fall, viewership will fall, new players won't stay, old players will leave, and franchising? It won't even fucking matter. Cause no one will watch that shit- cause the game isn't fun anymore.

We watch lcs because the game is fun, not because lcs is fun. Get that straight. Get your collective heads out of your asses while you're at it. You may have forgotten, since its been so long- but they are firmly up your ass. Maybe thats slightly harsh, lol.

Thats what happens when the player base feels unheard. They will become more and more extreme in desperation to get a response. Hense the building of the toxic community. This is the internet. What the fuck, its not new.

If I get and afk or feeder, then at least the game either ends quit, because of the enemies outnumbering us, or because they are just so far ahead they can just roll over us.

But toxic players will keep spamming, insulting and denying to give up taking us hostage to their flame.

Also. only intentional feeding is reportable, please do not claim that everyone who goes 0/3 is doing it on purpose

I don't understand how people think trolling is okay but calling out a troll isn't. This community has become so bass ackwards since Riot invented toxicity as an excuse for you to report people you don't like.

Toxicity used to be called banter and if you didn't like it you got better and proved your opponent wrong or you went to your safe space and cried about it on tumblr. Now you even have the option to mute players so you have no excuse to be offended.

The true toxicity is trolling, abuse, racism, and sexual harassment but those are well defined and don't involve an umbrella term that changes depending on Riot's mood.[slayer-jinx-unamused]
