Arbiter Frequency

If you had asked me how many arbiters there were a week ago, I would've said "I know there's Deep Terror Nami and... somebody else I think"

Apparently there's goddamn five of these guys, that's high fucking news to me, I'm pretty sure if it was six before DTN was banned, I never checked the exact amount before DTN got banned, but in scrolling through all active discussions, I've only seen three post, with Wuks and Jubbinaut being totally absent. Wuk's last activity was three days ago and Jubbinaut's hasn't posted in three goddamn fucking months. Jubbinauts hasn't played the game in three months, and I can't find any post on why he seems like a player who just stopped playing the game. I also can't find any post on why Wuk is missing either, and he's been playing a game a day according to op.gg.

Seeing the other arbiters isn't exactly a goddamn common occurrence either I went through all the "hot" posts in the PBM, and found that about every other post an arbiter had posted, and at least half that time, it wasn't anything helpful, just some fucking meme or half sentence. I don't have any problems with memes, my entire life feels like a bad meme, but jesus some of these people have serious goddamn problems and I can only seem to find two posts from the arbiters that are serious, and anything that goes beyond that number 2 number is often just a sentence or a meme, or often both.

tl;dr where in the world is Jubbinauts and please spam the comments with #freetyler1

My name was mentioned, so I'll do a quick overview of what I've been up to over the past few weeks:

June 5th through June 9th: Final Exams, with summer break beginning after the 9th June 10th: Departure from San Francisco International Airport June 11th through June 27th: Out of the country in Myanmar, with layovers in Shanghai and Kunming

However, this isn't to say that I haven't been on the Boards while on vacation. It's no secret that I've also been working with the Oceania team on the Oceanic Boards; over the past month, we've rolled out comprehensive moderation changes including visible moderation on the Oceanic Boards.

Outside of the Oceanic Boards, I also work with both regional volunteer programs (NA and OCE) and coordinate what I can with regards to meetings, projects, and discussions. As VenturaThePoro mentioned, and as I've linked a few times in my posts within Help & Support, we are working on a comprehensive knowledge base that addresses/will address many of the common issues and questions in Help & Support and many of the systems around Player Behavior.

And lastly, while I haven't been posting much lately, believe me that I still have a great interest and investment in the Boards; there just comes a point in every student's time in university where they just want to spend some time to enjoy what remains of a relatively short summer.

I appreciate that you're concerned with the frequency of Arbiter posts, and I assure you that (1) we're aware we could be posting more, (2) we've internally had this discussion with regards to our posting frequency, and (3) (I will not speak for the Arbiters, but I can speak for myself) I will be ramping up my posting within the NA Player Behavior & Moderation sub-boards as we wrap up our work on the volunteer knowledge base.

Cheers, "It's Wuks!"

Everyone knew that would happen when they announced this program. They picked people that were "active on the old forums". To be clear, the forums had been going for over a year when they made the arbiter program. Yea. I had to ask who they were.
