Rework the ban system

Now this isn't a QQ thread, I wasn't banned nor chat restricted, I'm making this thread to discuss some glaring issues in your ban system Riot. Your ban system is outdated and seems to priorities what is said in the chat while doing nothing about players who ruin game for others.

Now I get flaming is an issue and all but what about players who grief their own team and intentionally lose games for them? Do you realise how many selfish top laners I've gotten in games who either refuse to leash or move a finger to help their team but are more than happy to spam ping and grief my jungle for not camping their lane and sucking their dick? They know the system protects them as long as they don't say anything in chat. That 0/8/2 adc knows that he can run through my entire jungle and farm it then go feed red buff to the enemy adc and get away with it because "tehe he didn't say a bad word in chat so no ban for him summoner".

It's a fucking joke, I'm sick of getting these trash selfish players who ruin games for everyone due to their insanely huge ego and narcissistic attitude, every game I get some broken condom on my team that thinks he's god's gift to league who will spend the entire game splitpushing or jerking off in a bush while refusing to help his team because I didn't magically teleport halfway across the map to save him from getting collapsed on in the enemy jungle.

TL;dr Update the report system to detect this shit, I'd rather have people flame on my team than get these self centred douchebags throwing games because they refuse to let anyone else carry but them.

Riot punishes this heavily when identified, and have been working to improve these systems for a while now. The catch is that this behavior is MUCH harder to accurately determine (as you don't want to punish players who are merely bad), so it's not as if they can magically get improvements overnight.

It IS high on their priority list though, and something they're always striving to improve.

thinks he's god's gift to league who will spend the entire game splitpushing or <hiding>in a bush while refusing to help his team because I didn't magically teleport halfway across the map to save him from getting collapsed on in the enemy jungle.

This sort of player won't be punished though (as long as that guy isn't telling you he's avoiding the fight, in which case the system should ideally get him, yes) -- there's nothing that says you can't splitpush, or that you have to join your team in every fight. I get that it's super frustrating to encounter the sort of player who just wants to play the game THEIR way, but Riot isn't going to (at least in my estimation) FORCE gameplay decisions onto someone if they legitimately think their decision is the best course of action to win a fight or game.
