Stop jungler abuse

Look up my last game on op.gg. I'd done everything correctly, secured 2 dragons and herald as well as top turret for my ungrateful top laner, counter ganked as often as I could, and was generally winning my match up just fine. Rest of my team however decided to play like the apes that they were and lost us the game, now I'm not upset about the loss itself but how disgusting the players attitudes were towards me.

The akali would none stop ping me and call my name, never mentioning anything about how much the support or adc fed, never mentioning about him losing his match up vs GP, never mentioning anything about them tunnel visioning for kills and costing us baron, no, none of that. The focus was on me, I got flamed, called toxic, and the braindead akali was spamming my name and asking the enemy to report me for refusing to respond to his garbage.

I'm sick to my stomach by how badly we are treated in this game, it has become a joke to "blame the jungler" whenever any laner loses his lane. What I'm more disgusted about is the fact Riot has not moved a finger to combat this or address this, they sweep it under the rug while they preach about how toxicity is bad and how you shouldn't flame eachother but never address the issue, never point out who's dishing it out or who's receiving it, I'm sick of my role being a doormat, being both underpowered in game and in the community, we've been the butt of the joke for years constantly being shat on while other roles get praised and showered with buffs for surviving laning phase and whining on reddit, I'm not asking for buffs or special treatment and I know half of you will just tell me to mute and continue as if half of you don't start griefing your jungler's camps if he does that to you.

I've just had it and I want change, I'm sick of junglers being treated like shit by every role including the adc's bitch.

Mute and report. The issue is not being swept under the rug. Punishments for such behavior are regularly given.

You will never be punished for people flaming you. Everyone is only punished for their own chat.

I Feel your pain. Im a Jungle main and ive been playing for two years and it just never seems to end. for me its the most fun role and the highest skilled role with the highest skill level champions considering we have to play dad over the entire map. -__- i love doing it though it is a challenge and feels very rewarding when we slip through the cracks and get those big wins. HOWEVER, 80% of the time the whole team loses because two of 3 lanes start focusing on talking shit instead of playing the game as a team and working together. they dont take advice, they dont even really try. most people get boosted and think they are good because they stole kills from every gank or from other lanes and mislead the team into ANOTHER loss. You have to keep in mind, most people dont sit there and play league for 19 hours on end. most of us have lives and we sit down for maybe two hours to play some league and get it in. But the abuse to people who play this role is absolutely atrocious and it is obsurd for this role to be constantly thrashed by the community. i have time for maybe 3 games a day so the, "on to the next game" excuse is straight BS. there is a huge misconception of what Toxicity even IS, and i think that riot needs to make some serious changes to the community. People stop playing this game because the community is an amassing of a bunch of ignorant apathetic arrogant people. someone doing great and saying "stfu u suck" over and over again is so much more toxic than someone pinging question mark and saying "yo wth?"

Junglers are in no way, shape, or form, underpowered.

You know what sucks as a top laner? You're level 2 and the enemy jungler ganks as a level 3 (or your level 1 and he comes as a level 2). You avoid the gank, maybe don't even use flash. The enemy jungler stays, tries a second, third, fourth gank on you all without leaving. You're steadily losing farm and eventually he's going to land his skillshot. Your jungler just continues his clear - and when you eventually die he blames you and says you saw their jungler was there, it's your own fault. You know - it goes both ways. A good jungler would respond to that - either take dragon if you're bot side or come help me if top (if you come with guarantee win the 2v2 since I'm obviously ahead in the 1v1 (that's why i was extended and ganked the first time) AND they've been sharing xp for the last minute while we both got solo xp). If you just keep farming your own jungle, they're not being punished for failing to kill me, and i can't afford to base and put myself a bit behind because you're not getting anyone ahead so i know i can't depend on you to help me catch back up (with even just showing up to relieve some pressure, i don't need a kill). Or i can't base because I'll be a level down on each of them when i tp back and they'll dive my tp and I'll fall way behind because you wouldn't respond to the 2v1.

Rant aside, that's just one example where a jungler thinks their lanes all suck and are feeding, but their lanes were winning and the enemy jungler won the jungle matchup hard with early pressure that you solely messed up by not responding to. There are lots more - just like there are obviously lots of cases where laners die 1v1 and blame the jungler with no reason. Thing is - you often don't know which is which. I've been top and seem my jungle blame mid for dying 1v1 and saying he shouldn't have to win his Lane for him, but meanwhile the actual kill was only the enemy mid but it was after the enemy jungler ganked twice and chunked him and traded flashes with him to give his mid a big advantage. The mid didn't lose his Lane 1v1 but as far as the jungler was concerned there was no assist in the kill so he must have. Clear sign that he wasn't paying attention (and honestly if i can notice it while last hitting and trading with a Lane opponent, how the hell can you not see it playing PvE?).

Basically I'm saying, if you feel this happens to you a lot, it MIGHT be you. Watch some of your replays and see what presence the other jungler actually had. Just because you get 2 kills in ganks and he got none doesn't mean you won the matchup if he's pushed your allies out of lane and burned their summoners 8 times thereby generating his allies a solid cs and xp advantage. It's NEVER appropriate for people to start spam-pinging you and insulting you etc.. but it is understandable if you just ignore / don't understand what they're trying to say and put blame back on them.

Altogether, every role has a job and while an individual is often wrong about who's causing problems, the team as a whole generally has a good idea of who's playing well and who's not. If you feel like junglers are weak and your teams are constantly blaming you - maybe it's just poorly placed blame and bad teammates - it's more likely you're missing something and have room to improve / change your playstyle to succeed in the current meta.

This title just reminds me how petty these problems are. "Stop jungle abuse" meanwhile kids are abused everyday and sold into slavery rings and millions of impoverished people abused by authorities with no control. Yeah... this is important stuff here though. Gotta stop that jungle abuse. Really makes you sick to your stomach, people being verbally abused in a video game, doesn't it?

Maybe tone it down a bit on how disgusted you are. Really shows how spoiled you are if THAT is what makes you sick to your stomach.

Any form of verbal harassment online, is called cyber harassment(only if the harasser is over the age of 17 or how damaging the verbal abuse is) and considered a crime in many of the states. It is a crime punishable with a hefty fine and imprisonment.
