Account Ban!

So between games I was playing some street fighter and I saw that I was disconnected from client. Restarted and found out my account was banned. I checked my email to see this message but I didn't expect to be banned for going against "Riots Terms Of Service". I don't cheat or script or anything stupid like that so how is it even possible to get banned for terms of service? I thought if you got banned for going against the summoners code it would at least say that. Anyways just wondering.

troll, griefing, negative attitude probably.

or it could be an ELO boost.

Troll,Griefing,Negative attitude all fall under "summoners code" If you receive a ban for that it says you have been banned because of against again "summoners code", not going against TOS.

ELO boosting would fit into that category but I don't boost or pay for boosts considering I'm on a massive loss streak pretty should elo boosting is out of the question. Been plat this entire season too.

5.1. Can I troll, flame, threaten or harass people while using the Riot Services? (No. If you do, you might get banned.)

While using the Riot Services, you must comply with all laws, rules and regulations in the jurisdiction in which you reside. You must also comply with certain additional rules that govern your use of the Riot Services (the “Code of Conduct”). The Code of Conduct is not meant to be exhaustive, and we reserve the right to modify it at any time, as well as take appropriate disciplinary measures including account termination and deletion to protect the integrity and spirit of the Riot Services, regardless of whether a specific behavior is listed in the policy as inappropriate. In addition to the Code of Conduct, please review the Summoner’s Code for additional guidance on exemplary gameplay behavior.

Maybe you should read the Terms of Use first before saying that.

Infact, ELO boosting is written as point xiii in section 5.1

the terms of service include conduct...

if you wanna know exactly what you were banned for submit a support ticket asking why

it takes about 2 days for them to get back but you will know and if it was a mistake they can review it

If it's a "Toxic" issue they generally send an email stating you have been banned for breaking the summoners code etc.

I've never seen a ban that is a result of behavior say TOS, it always includes summoners code.

Look at all those details they gave you, haha.

You'll have to send in a support ticket.

Riot just blind bands people based on "reports" their automated system gets. They aren't manually reviewed, its just easier for them to do it automated like this. Email if you want them to give you a half answer with no real details.

First of all, no one is completely nice in league, but kindness gets you far. Like if you flame and troll in those rare occassions, it's not acceptable but it's understandable - everyone has bad times. However if you are really self-centered or say something really hating it's gonna get you bans.
