So after quite of bit of time playing this game for fun and joking around with friends, for my first time ever, I have been banned. Verbal Abuse. After many years of joking and trolling in chat while carrying my team to victory, I finally got banned for something of elementary school level.

I thought muting people was to prevent having to see these things. What makes this even worse, is that I was reported by at least one of my intentionally feeding teammates. I'm surprised I was banned for 14 days and they weren't even so much as punished, even after admitting that they were feeding and being 100x more toxic than I was in that little bit of chat dialogue. Wtf Riot? What a joke of a ban.

This log contains spamming, which I might grant you is, as you put it, elementary school level toxicity.

However, it also contains encouragements to self-harm and hate speech, neither of which is at all acceptable in a friendly game.

This... isn't "elementary school". You used hate speech repeatedly here as well as told someone to kill themselves, over a video game.

You should not need a warning that type of behavior is not appropriate in League - or any game really.

Spamming is punishable.
"KYS" is an automatic 14 day ban.

You used hate speech and encouraged self harm, both of which escalate punishments to the 14 day ban usually.

Muting does not prevent people from seeing what you say. I blame phones for that misconception. Think of mute like you would a television. It mutes the sound so you can't hear it. So muting here prevents you from seeing what others say.

Give them time and they may get punished.

Riot is punishing you for saying it. Doesn't really matter if others can avoid it, Riot doesn't want you saying it in the first place.

The only joke here is how this managed to sneak up on you. I mean no offense by saying this, but considering you came to the Boards to post this, and this sort of post happens literally every day around here with the same exact responses, and the fact that you agreed to the Terms of Service, this should in no way surprise you.

If you want to joke around with people do it in voice chat, where Riot can't punish you for what you see as humor. Humor is not universal after all.

Aye man you think this is bad, when I got my 14 day ban I was carrying and had a Janna support that decided to support top instead of me the adc. I tried to encourage her to play the game we can win but she’s refused and my jungler was swearing and losing his shit. But take it in, I didn’t swear once in the game lmao
