The Honor system might have ruined the game for me

According to league. I got %159 more honors than the average player. I was honor lvl 5 last season too. it was easy, but as soon as the honor system reset this year. My enjoyment of the game took a nose dive.

Suddenly. no one groups at all. Someone feeds 6 kills before 9 minutes in %70 of my games. And now people are flaming bot lane for not securing the kill top lane 3 minutes in.

the Honor system clearly has an effect on the matchmaking system. and since everyone is equal, it's complete anarchy. Every game has a troll in it. And I'm muting chat way more often then usual.

People are taking Velkoz support and blaming adc's for not getting enough kills. Top Laners are farming up in the corner when we're team fighting under nexus tower. Junglers never gank and take the high ground for least deaths.

I climbed to Gold last season, and now everyone is making more mistakes then when I was bronze 3. I'm not mad that I lose games. But now winning doesn't even feel satisfying because everyone is at each other's throats. Aram is now more balanced because people are actually forced to group. And now i'm stuck in a negative feedback loop because Riot thinks it's my fault when people INT and AKF.

Thanks for the keys though.

What ? You really think that honor has an effect on matchmaking ? That's just not true.

I really honestly don't see the connection. Your complaints are about trolls and flaming... how does honor affect this? How did you come to this conclusion that it's because of the honor system?

Keep in mind Matchmaking had a similar soft reset. So for the early parts of the season you do see players with a greater variety of skill levels than you do later in the season.
