People Can't Win Humbly In This Game Anymore

Literally had a game where I wasn't even paying that much attention to it. I'm here just trying to better myself and my top laner gets mad at me because I kept continuously killing him saying, "That's right, collect that 50 gold. You're still going to lose." At the end of the game, that very top laner goes, "So fucking easy." So I laugh at it. Then he goes, "You mad that I put you in the shitter?" Me, very confused, responded, "What? You lost lane hard." Then, the mid laner on the other side says, "Wait... Riven, you were so bad. LOL. No wonder why you're hard stuck Plat." A Plat for 3 seasons now, is calling me hard stuck in Plat? Are you trying to insult my rank? Me and you are the same rank, I don't understand?

I was also playing with a friend of mine who was new to the game... They had a team of 3 plats and 2 golds. I have a team of 2 plats(including me), 1 silver, 1 gold and my unranked friend. The teams, as it stands, are already stacked in the enemy favor. Instead of saying GGWP, leaving it at that, you decide to insult me because I performed better than you in the game? What? How shallow are people these days?

Like... after all that... in a simple game, how can you be such a hardass? Oh wow, you're a rank above me, I suppose I should bow before you, the almighty god? You lost lane, you complained to me and I said I don't care, so now you have to try rub a win, that you didn't even have an influence in, in my face? I don't get it... this community is beyond shot. Get off your high horses, it's a game. You did well a Kat, albeit our Ekko admitted to giving up a few kills before he started taking the game seriously... but why do you have to be a huge dick after winning a game? You WON, what MORE do you want?

I think the funniest part is that you were playing a normal game. That's pretty a pretty impressive level of toxicity for a normal game lol.

But isn't it great how people are always so insistent on "facts" of the game that never happened? I can legit quote people verbatim but they NEVER said that. However, when I was a mute all game, I totally said tons of things. Selective memory and perception are one thing, but sometimes I can't decide if such blatantly false statements are done with the intent of trolling or if they honestly think that's what happened.

Also, what a great world to look forward to when I hit plat or higher. I'll no longer be mocked for being bronze at high silver / low gold. ... in a normal game. I just can't get over that the only difference between what I see every day and what you've posted is the word change from "bronze" to "plat." I mean I heard it was the same everywhere... but I didn't think it was really THAT bad. Isn't like <20% of the population as high as plat? Why is that an insult lol

lol its just a bunch of nerds and alpha biotches behind a keyboard. they all have something to prove via this video game. they think their rank/mmr etc makes them like themselves more. they have such fragile lil egos they have to do anything they can to stroke it and boost it. it really comes from a place of immaturity and insecurity. i had the same thing with someone on my team talking shit, using homophobic slurs, racial stereotypes and cultural stereotypes. he thought if he challenge me to a 1 vs 1 he would win and beat me and prove he is better then i am. i laughed... if he was soo good why was he in a game with me ? ya know a noob who is bad at the game and knows nothing and a troll right? LMAO some punk ass kid who feels bad about himself i guess... he kept on... i invited him over ... gave him my address and said if you are really all as tough as you think you are show up at my door ill be waiting....

still waiting btw...

They're just trying to piss you off and get under your skin, which they clearly accomplished. WP though.. I wish your team would have won. I love stomping trash talkers who think it's cool to be good at a video game.

I feel for you, man. Can't tell you how many times people say "ggez" after getting carried. Like, you don't have to admit you did bad but don't act like you're the best merely for winning one game. I'm just disappointed in the sportsmanship. Saying nothing, literally exerting no extra energy would be better than spouting how great you did in a perhaps mediocre performance. Hell, if you did good, you still shouldn't be a dick about it. It's like these people are conditioned that everyone is a dick, so if you don't spout about how great you are people will just be mean to you.

And you know if we played this game face-to-face, they would never act this way. It's just embarrassing. Not to mention most of these people are not that confident in real life.

All you can really do is laugh about the funny trolls and shrug off the hurtful stuff. You know how that game went, and they are obviously full of shit.

I don't get 1v1ing. I'm a team player, and I suck at 1v1s. I prefer supporting and tanking. So I lose any and all 1v1s.
