Toxic

Riot is overdoing it a bit with the mutes and bans based on chat.

Unless someone is being over the top and using slurs or just going nutso, let us bicker amongst ourselves and quit micromanaging us. The chat is half the reason any of us even enjoy the game. I want that dude to flame me so I can toss out a "gg ez top" after we make a turnaround.

Chill please. If people can't keep from tilting that's their fault. If someone is flaming my jungle and they're 0/5 at 7 minutes on AP Zed, I would much rather be able to toss out a "stfu man you're 0/5 on ap Zed" and mute him than have to wait till after the game to do that dinky little report.

Seriously. Stop trying to make everyone a social justice warrior and just let us play our competitive game and troll each other. That's the beauty of the game.

I'm not advocating troll. I'm not advocating flame. I'm not advocating tilt. I'm advocating the freedom to respond in like as long as it isn't something way too far. _** For those of you that don't seem to like this post, good for you. Now imagine if you couldn't post anything back or couldn't downvote and had to just ignore me. WOULDN'T MAKE SENSE HUH? Maybe you would want to argue "But that's what the forums are for" and I would hit you with that "But since you're not making positive suggestions, you're making negative ones and that's toxic".

What now? That's exactly how I feel in chat when some dude runs blue ezreal from S2 in my bot lane, feeds, blames the support, and I can't tell him that it's actually his fault for using a season 2 build.

Every downvote or post in opposition to my opinion would be considered negative if it were league of legends chat. Just think about that. Basically you're proving my point that you would want to be able to discuss it or show your dissension without being muted.

Imagine if you ran the risk of being banned or muted for saying "YOU choose to respond" Just replace the respond with dive. You went from having a discussion to blaming me for something. It's crazy how quickly that happens isn't it? That's punishment worthy in the game, but fortunately it isn't here. **_ TLDR Makes no sense to mute/ban some dude that was harassed and responded. That's like the 0 tolerance rule back in high school. You're punishing a someone for defending themselves.

OP if you cant act like a mature positive civilized player you don't deserved to be here . If you want to get stressed out over a video game that is your personal issue if you start taking your frustration out on other players ..that is unacceptable and Riot SHOULD take action against you.

That is not being SJW that is simply enforcing mature civilized behavior.

There is never any "context" or "justification" for responding to, reacting to any Intentional negative chat , action or play .

Also there is never any "context" or Justification to negativity commenting on something you simply don't like or what you consider "bad play" of any kind.

As for players blaming punishable speech and/or actions on other players - that is also inherently wrong

There is no such thing as being baited. You cannot use that as an excuse.

YOU ( the player) control and are responsible for your own actions speech.

No matter what anyone does or says in game no matter how bad

if YOU choose to respond to it in any way the YOU rightly deserve to be punished as well.

also its not just "one bad game " that will get you banned, you can skip punishment tiers if Riot thinks the offence was bad enough however.

Riot treats everyone the same. Everyone is given the same escalation pathway of punishments:

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day ban Permanent ban

The point of all this is If you don't like how random people, don't want the "risk" of someone intentionally trying to disrupt the game ( intentional feeders afk verbal abusive leaverbuster avoiders) play then it's up to you not to join a random que ,

As for there is a INTENTIONAL feeder or afk just ignore them and play as you would if everything was fine and report them after the game . Take no action ,of any kind in retaliation or respond/ react to them verbally.

Also If a player disagrees and /or ignores the above guidelines and continue to break them remember every player is just GUEST of Riot no matter how much money that player spent on their account and their Privilege of playing in this game can and should be taken away permanently,

Riot is doing a wonderful job on putting toxic players and notice. And no, the beauty of the game is playing a game without any toxic or negative experience. This game is about good sportsmanship and enjoying a competitive nature. If you feel the need to be toxic, then do so at your own risk. Because you have been warned. We need less of what you just said and how you act.

Your replies are pretty irrelevant to what I said. You did this on another post I made so I'm feeling it's a habit. If you think a jungler responding to some dude tilting off the face of the planet at 7 minutes with a "dude can you stfu?" Is the cause of a problem, then that's pretty funny to me. Obviously it was exaggerate btw, but I shouldn't have expected people to grasp that I guess.

The main thing is, stop punishing people that choose to respond to flamers instead of mute them. I would rather respond and at least have some form of communication over a mute. If they tilt someone on our team, that's always on the initial flamer.

The forums have rules that are fairly similar to game.

The forums allow extended disagreements because this is the place for that, and there isn't another more pressing issue, like a game to play, that we're ignoring for the sake of communication around the disagreement.

On the forums, when there's a post we don't like, we can ignore it, downvote it, or report it. We are very specifically not allowed to insult you, any aspect of you (like your intelligence), or your idea. We can respectfully disagree.

In game, when there is something we don't like, we can ignore it, mute it, or report it. We are very specifically not allowed to insult it or any aspect of it. We can respectfully disagree. In game we are discouraged from excessive conversation on issues like season 2 blue builds. This is because it is during a game. There are more important things going on. Also, the past cannot be changed. This may surprise you, but the scientists looking into time travel have completely removed shit talking from the list of avenues worth pursuing.

You can very specifically suggest what to build next, you may even provide a reason for your suggestion. "Hey, EZ, ARpen would help a lot, I suggest grabbing LW" will never result in any action being taken against your account.

Once fullbuild is achieved, you can even suggest selling specific items to replace them with others that you like more, but until that point, selling an item to buy another would put him further behind.

Also, due to matches being arranged based on MMR, their total contribution to a team's success is approximately equal to yours.

As to S2 blue build Ezreal being a detriment to his team...you're talking about the build with a 58.72% winrate (season 7), right? Manamune>TriForce>BotRK?
