So I was messing around in normals with some friends and they jokingly reported me for being toxic. I got a 10 game chat restriction which isn't that bad, but will I be ineligible for season rewards? That would really suck since i just made it to plat.

No, not as long as you work it off and don't get more punishments. While the rules for this season haven't been announced yet, they will likely be the same or similar to those of last year. Last season you'd be ineligible for Ranked Rewards if;

You had an active chat restriction when rewards were distributed at the end of the season on Nov. 11th
You had an account ban for behavioral issues within 3 months prior to the season's end
You had an MMR Boosting ban at any point during the season

CAN CHAT RESTRICTED PLAYERS GET SEASON REWARDS?

Competitive play should reward positive sportsmanship just as much as they reward great play, so the most negative players with chat restrictions at the end of the season will be ineligible to earn ranked end of season rewards such as the loading screen borders or the Victorious champion skin.
