Auto /mute all Feature (Similar to disabling All Chat) [Can a RED/DEV respond?]

My idea to help people reform, including myself is to have an option to disable team chat (similar to disabling all chat). So I can still see important information in the chat like who slayed baron/dragon etc. I'm the type of person who gets toxic because once I see the message I can't help but reply. Muting them makes me feel defeated. I have a mental disorder which if you want to make fun of me for, I don't give a shit.

My mental disorder makes it hard for me to let things go. I know if I could just remove the ability to let others get to me, it wouldn't matter. If someone is trolling in game I just report them (although they NEVER get banned for it) BUT if someone flames me or lies to my team in order to get them to flame me, it kind of sets me off. I decided I'm not going to use chat anymore at all, but I really really want to disable seeing other peoples messages to help me. Maybe after a couple months I would go back to turning it back on and see how it goes, but just having the feature I know it can help a lot of people. The same way the "disable all chat" feature doesn't help very many people, there is still a majority of people who rather have all chat turned off so the enemy team can't flame them when they kill them or something like that. I want something to stop my teammates from doing the same thing.

I'm scared to use any AHK script where I can press F1 and it auto type /mute all because I feel like you guys might ban me for it. I know if I have to type /mute all at the start of every game I going to forget and I can just tell it's going to be bad for me. I really want to reform and I know this can help me. If I didn't believe that I wouldn't be contacting Riot or posting on the boards.

I'm just a simple person who wants to enjoy the game like everyone else, but for someone like me I get affected differently then others by chat. I know I can move the chat off screen but I want to be able to see important messages.

As of right now I am going to play with the chat off screen. But I'm just going to keep hoping that one day you guys might actually add this feature to help some people who really do want to reform, but need something like this to help us. Some people tell me we shouldn't have this because you guys want players to learn to control their behaviors, but we can already type /mute all, all this does it make it so we don't forget to type /mute all at the start of games.

i like the idea, i was chat punished because jungle started flaming my support, after there jungle and mid visited us 3 times and our jungle was "farming". So i defended the support with out cursing i pointed out him flaming was not useful to us winning. to which he just directed his hateful discussion at me and i still through out didn't cuss, didn't reference anything lewd and was punished. Any way long story short letting someone else know there unsportsmen like conduct was not useful i was called unsportsman like? stupid things are punishable but real infractions slide right on by making your idea really awesome in my opinion.

Remember when you were in school and a bully pounded your face into a locker and you took a swing back at the bully and you, the bully's victim, were the one that got caught and suspended? Well, that's what Riot does. They penalize you the victim because you didn't report the bully. Victims often do not report the bully. More often than not, victims stay silent. The bully and the bully's premade friends reported you, and Riot then penalized you, the original victim, for taking that swing at the bully and defending yourself, and no matter how much honor you had, you as the victim get ALL of your honor stripped away and you, the victim, have to earn your honor back, if you even give a care about honor anymore after this injustice, and NOTHING happens to the bullies that just kept on pushing you until you took that swing back at them.

According to Riot, you're supposed to turn the other cheek and let the bully get away with being a bully. You're NOT supposed to defend yourself from a bully. You're just supposed to do nothing and let the bully repeatedly pound the crap out of you, because of this policy of penalizing the victims, Riot promotes bullying behavior and penalizes the victims who defend themselves.

Way too often, it's the bully and the bully's premade friends that are the ones making the reports, and Riot is making those bullies feel powerful by penalizing the bullies' victims.

You see, I'm that guy that defended the victims from the bullies. I put myself between the bully and the victim and made the bully stop the behavior in my presence. I've been told I have a real "Boy Scout" complex. I won't let a bully get away with bullying other people. I will step in and put a stop to it. Now, apparently according to Riot that makes me toxic, however, I am not the person that initiates the toxic behavior, however, I am the one that Riot penalizes. Riot does NOT penalize the bully, just the one that diverts the bully's attention off of the initial victim.

When I was at my father's funeral, a person came up to me and hugged me and with tears in his eyes told me thank you. He then walked away. I was a bit preoccupied at the time. Many people wanted my attention during that time and I was a bit numb. My girlfriend caught him before he left the building and asked him about it. He said that he was the victim of a bully who repeatedly tried to victimize him and somehow I was always there to get the bully off of him. He said that I convinced the bully not to victimize him anymore and that I had made his years in school much better.

Funny thing is, it is so ingrained in my nature to defend the victims that I have no idea who that person was because I've defended so many, but I made his life better and that's enough for me.

I do NOT regret ever standing up to a bully. Riot penalizes me for doing this. Perhaps the people at Riot never had someone stand up to a bully for them in their early lives, or perhaps the people at Riot just are bullies themselves and see nothing wrong with the bullies behavior.

I guess Riot's motto is, "Punish the Victims and Reward the Bullies."

you should only mute your teamates if you need to because you are basically useless to them if you dont communicate
