Playing normal games as a Diamond player is actually a lose-lose sitaution

Just riding out the last month of the season waiting for a meta change playing flex/normals with friends; but here's my problem; im getting flamed EVERY game no matter what role i play/champ/win or lose and i'm pretty sick

If i win on a champ i play a lot of - im a tryhard who got boosted and now can only play normals vs silvers!!! If i win on an off role/non main champ - im a boosted monkey and should be gunned down If i lose - Im a eBay account who cant carry vs silver players lol!!!!

I legit just had a duo who were gold5 + silver 3 respectively tell me they were better palyers than me becasue they won the game i was in. i dont understand the mentality at all and its draining the little fun im having

No matter what rank you are you put up with that in normals. Because it's based on MMR rather than rank, you'll always have a bronze player who is really good but hates ranked crush you and spam all chat all game, or you'll always get a diamond or master player tell you you're a smurf because you beat them. I really wish third party websites with current rank information didn't exist, especially in normals, because it's really obnoxious getting called "plat 5 trash" by a plat 4 with a 30% winrate when rank literally doesn't matter at all in norms.

You're right I have the same problem, I play a lot of norms cuz all my IRL friends are causual I am Diamond 1 and I wouldn't say every game but a lot of the losses I get flamed, thankfully this account has a silver border still so most people don't notice until KDA gets nuts or something, but I get get the other team lolnexus "Gg boosted" etc when they can't even preform the simplest of tasks. Really sick of t myself. What's worse is these monkeys don't know how the normal MMR system works, I was silver last season so my norms MMR still around there I guess. Note I jumped to Diamond 1 low masters play in a year so I'm happy regardless of what ppl tell me me and my bros have a lot of fun in norms YOU CANT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME!!!!!

I recommend either mute all, or ignore them (which means don't respond to them) and report them at the end of the game.

just look for players like me and add us for normal games ;) we're super friendly. willing to learn and teach whenever we can.

I don't know it's just the haters. I recently played against an Illaoi as a singed. And the Illaoi constantly said Singed is a broken OP champion.

Try smurfing or playing on a different account. Most of my high elo friends have a smurf or multiple ones, and if you don't... there's always ebay xD
