It was likely deleted due to the board policy disallowing "naming and shaming". In the future it would be best to use ms paint or some such program to redact personal info of other players, such as the players in game names. That being said, chogathson, better known as hatedaddy, was involved in the game so we can certainly ask his input on the tryn player, but be aware he's liable to criticize your in game actions as well.

In any case we can discuss whether this was intentional trolling here in this thread, and what actions should be taken to discourage or punish intentional trolling. I doubt HD is up ATM, but he'll likely respond tomorrow. You were probably also on his live stream, so be aware you could catch some flak if you acted in appropriately in this match, but the topic you brought up is a valid topic for discussion.

Also, if you would like to repost the links to the games in question, screenshot the web pages and redact the names of the players, that will keep the mods from removing the post.

I don't think he was trolling, I think he was just really bad. He died a few times early and baited our solo lanes into bad fights. I would've surrendered earlier but my friend was in his promos and I felt bad the game had gotten so out of hand. I let him bait me into a few bad fights I knew weren't good so I could've avoided a few deaths. But no, I don't think he was trolling, just bad. Your typical 1000+ games played grinder who is way too high for what his actual skill is but managed to grind/luck his way to higher up.

It's also worth noting he has a match in his profile a few games prior to ours where he got carried my a TP/smite trynd with the same build. Again, not trolling - just bad.

I will say that after looking at the match history of the tryn player in question and checking out the match facts for the handful of games in question I didn't see anything contained within the match facts to indicate that he was purposefully ruining the game. That's not to say he wasn't, or that he was, but that the evidence seems to support that particular player in those particular instances was just playing extremely poorly. The match immediately following the game with both Meat and HD was slightly suspicious, and in that game he might have been feeding intentionally to a degree out of spite since he got paired with Meat again, but the matches surrounding them show the tryn player playing poorly also. Most likely just tilted.

Look deep into his match history on op gg. His builds are not out of the ordinary except for his last 3 games. From runeglaive jungle diana and ekko to poaching smite devourer tryndamere? He will go chilling smite devourer on Xin Zhao, which is NORMAL. Warrior enchant chilling smite Jarvan is NORMAL.

My guess: his main is D5 and its getting close to the end of the season. Why would you let your smurf catch up to your main? Might as well have fun pissing off people trying to win games.

In the end if nothing happens, I think I will convert to his side. My lowly Plat game sense could not see the sheer awesomeness that is Tryndamere poaching devourer until now. He's convinced me that it's actually some secret Korean challenger tier jungle strategy. I've been on a losing streak lately, so if you see the legendary Tryndamere build give me the benefit of the doubt and assume I'm playing bad on tilt ;). I rarely jungle in ranked. I didn't know that poaching smite was bad ;) I don't play enough jungle to know that! Actually nah, I'll take it to the next level and pick any high priority ban that wasn't picked away from my team and utilize his tryndamere strategy when I jungle ;) Maybe you'll get to see poaching smite devouring Veigar proxy farming enemy jungle in Plat ;) I mean, he did manage to win his last game with it, there's obvious some merit to his build that I have to test out myself.

I feel like the biggest factor is the game HD alluded to where prior to your matches with him he saw a player use that tryn build to great success and he attempted to do the same without the knowledge and experience required to pull it off. The truth is most players simply aren't good at playing lots of things lots of ways, they are good at a few things. He attempted to try something he was new to and failed pretty miserably. Is it rude to do this in ranked? Yeah, sure. Is it wrong even? Maybe. But it's not against the rules and isn't necessarily a punishable offense. The bigger question I would pose to you is this: having played one game with him already where his failures, intentional or not, helped cost you a match, why would you play a second with him?

I keep lists of players who perform as this tryn did because what they do isn't beneficial to my climb but isn't really an easy to punish offense if an offense at all. If I see them again, I just dodge. It costs nothing but time, and I'll happily wait 5 minutes rather than be forced to play with that type of player again. Particularly as you climb higher it becomes common to see players repeatedly. Avoid those who don't mesh with you. Lol, don't go deliberately ruining games now! But if you wanna experiment, well, that's technically ok. I would certainly recommend doing it on a smurf since you are unlikely to be good at it at first, and it would help to apologize or warn your teammates in advance. That gives them the option to dodge, and if they don't and you play your hardest and it just doesn't work out, well, you gave them the option to avoid playing the game, no harm no foul.

So they can help ya pull it off bud. Communication and teamwork is the name of the game. A coordinated team, all on the same page, has a better chance of success. If they understand your intentions they can better play around/off you.

Honestly, it's not an ideal strategy, and tryn isn't an ideal jg. It's probably something better used in specific circumstances than as a go to for every match, but hey, that's a decision you have to make for yourself. Good luck! Ya might need it.

Also today a teemo jungle main tried to ninja pick teemo jungle until someone dodged. I got paired up with him again and asked out captain to ban teemo so we don't get a awful jungle. He picks Fizz and feeds out of spite and says "you need to lose" for banning his main lmfao and would continually say "good luck carrying me I'm bad at this champion".

I forgot what it felt like to lose due to shitters, but now I remember. I need to remind others too. Just pretend you're bad and don't mention that you're actually trying to lose, then Riot will never punish you. But don't you dare flame, that's toxic.

Getting mad about it and the annoyance of it is one thing, doing it yourself in spite is another. Even though it's not technically against the rules, you know it's bad and a losing strategy. You're simply wasting your own time.

I don't know what your elo is but this is my smurf and it's plat 2. I admit, I'm at an elo I'm still going to stomp my lane, but I'm not good enough to carry bad teammates so it's something I'm actively working on.

I give him credit too. He tried his best to contest scuttle bug in front of the enemy jungler's face that just solo'd him a minute ago. I'll also give him credit for baiting myself and top into saving him.

Also that proxy enemy jungle farm? I give him credit for carrying the enemy team by acting as their 6th player. And he manged to do it two games in row, MVP. Why even bother farming minions when you can farm tryndamere? He seems to spawn like a melee minion in the jungle but is worth more gold.
