there is no reason to give someone a 2nd chance who admitted that he wants to lose on purpose because he dislikes someone for whatever reason. end of story.

if you want context on what happened: our adc was twitch and he helped the jungler with gromp. twitch then leaves, the jungler fail smites and twitchs poison gives him the finishing blow. jungler came bot, gave blue to enemy adc (just running into tower) and said "lol i want to lose cause you dont deserve win you are a fucking cancer troll" after that he said he just afk jungles so he doesnt get punished for afking or feeding.

Intentionally throwing games should just be the top priority. Children that act like that shouldn't be playing a game like this.

Permabans shouldn't be thrown out at any little infraction.

Permabans are exclusively for repeat offenders or people who harass others to an extreme degree.

You don't know what he was going through that day, his stress, etc. It might be a one time thing. This is one abundant factor that Riot acknowledges.

What he did was clearly wrong, but a permaban for, as far as you know, a single infraction is a bit harsh. That said, he is probably consistently bad-mannered and will get banned anyway if your context is any indication.

It shouldn't. Instant permabans are things like: -hate speech -homophobic/racist slurs -telling someone to kill themselves -etc.

Now explain to me how saying "lol I want to lose cause you don't deserve win" is f the same caliber as the above.

(Hint-it's not.)

Lol. It should be. But it's not a priority for them. But lord forbid you call that person a troll, you're punished. I'm not sure if rito realizes that punishing those types of players would actually decrease "toxic chat", instead of just throwing chat bans around.

Report and move on.

Perma-bans are reserved for people that display a consistent pattern of toxicity over a long period of time , not a one-shot murder type thing.

{quoted} Instant permabans are things like: -hate speech -homophobic/racist slurs

Neither of those results in a perma-ban, and rightly so. Trash talking is not wrong..... "Hate speech" also doesn't exist , so cut that out, you ideological clown.
