Welcome to my rant on the current behavior and mindset of players in this game

IT. IS. AWFUL.

I came back 1 game after nearly 4 months or so of time off. I decided to play an ARAM just for kicks, to see if the game got any better.

Well, surely it did not. It is worse.

Toxicity levels are beyond rational or normal. It is sickening how players treat this game at this point. And the fault lies on RIOT, and their inept social team.

They have fostered just a coddled world of ingrate children, that absolutely no discussion is possible.

I started with 1 simple comment, "Hey we won't win if we stay under the tower" which spiraled into me being reported for being toxic!

I did nothing of the sort. You can't say one thing anymore without someone feeling 'hurt' and 'offended' to the point that they feel obligated to report. Not only that..but they feel obligated to STOP PLAYING, STOP HELPING, and obligated to get the entire team and enemy team to report.

This is a problem. This is toxic. Not saying, 'u suck' or 'you're a noob.' That is NOTHING compared to what these entitled brats seem to think they can get away with because they don't use a curse word.

Riot is attacking the wrong problem. Name calling is, and always HAS been a part of competitive spirit. It is AFTER the match that you shake hands and forget about it and move on with life. League has now become some strange personal attack area, where no one can take any sort of criticism due to undeserved entitlement.

Stop rewarding this kind of bullying Riot! Don't reward bratty kids for luring people into fights, only so they can report and abuse you're (really horrible) chat algorithm. When someone stops playing the game simply to enrage a teammate (and in this current case, they were unsuccessful, as I did not say more than 1 or 2 lines in response), they deserve a punishment, not the person who breaks down and finally retaliates.

Curse words and insults are not the problem. The problem is that you (riot) have created an environment where the only sense of Justice someone can feel in this game is to report someone for an offense that shouldn't BE offensive.

I thought I could get back into this game. But its impossible. The people in charge must just be too childish themselves to fix this, especially since the have time and time again proved that they believe this incredibly shitty environment is good.

I understand your frustration. However, if you did not say or do anything toxic than the reports will not have any effect. I wouldn't lose any sleep over them. However, I doubt that the people at Riot are childish. Toxicity is a very complicated issue to deal and to have the right programs in place is a very hard thing. Riot is trying to constantly improve the situation and I don't think anywhere there would say it's anywhere near solved yet.

The solution to all your problem is the AI justice system that can detect all types of visible abusive words that you might use as a result of normal human reaction to some fuking troll feeder and unresponsive noob who can't play this game and won't bother to learn because its "just a game" "have fun""yes I'm 0/20 but it's just normal so I have the license to feed(and I don't care if you are trying hard to carry us to win"), "I'm reporting you for verbal abuse" etcetera.

It's so sad we punish toxic people who in most cases just react to these sort of kids as a normal human reaction but yet no concrete punishment for Intentionally feeding in games or trolling. I have seen the game history of one of my team mate who fed super hard and saw 10 games where he died more than 10-15 times with 0-5 kills. And he is allowed to play without any punishment like playing 5 Co op games before he can play pvp again in justice for the players who lost due to him.... This system of reporting is so one sided it's just funny now. I can make anyone rage at me and he would be punished instead because he decides to react... Like a normal human would

I agree with the part that people will purposely not help you. I won't ever criticize anyone beyond saying 'stay with the team plz' or 'stay together plz' if someone is diving without us constantly, but that alone is enough to get people to flame you for the rest of the game and not help you at all.

I once had a Fizz in ARAM who kept diving 1v5 without us, I said stay with us plz after he dove the 8th time, and him and Soraka were in the same club apparently, Fizz started flaming me hard but Soraka didn't say anything, Suddenly Soraka no longer heals me for the rest of the game, then starts saying I'm feeding when I die when she could have easily healed me. I didn't blame her verbally but I could tell she was doing it on purpose. All I asked was for Fizz to stay with the team I didn't say anything hateful and they do this shit for the rest of the game, anti teamwork.

These same people won't help you on purpose if they think you're noob or they just don't like you for reasons, they won't say anything but they'll spam pings and refuse to help you in any situation. A few times I've reported people for this because it's so obvious they are not intent on helping the team.
