Is there any way to remove a loss

Is there some sort of system for loss removal in a 5 v 5 game? Last game...in plat elo mind you (so shit but not complete shit) I had the first game with someone literally just trolling. Literally just sat in game afk the entire game. <Removed by Moderation> and eventually just full afk'd from game. Is there any way to seek a loss forgiveness when you literally just have 1 complete troll intentionally losing game?

Hi there!

I've taken a moment to edit a little bit out of your original post, because even though you censored part of the name, calling out or shaming specific players is against the Universal Rules.

If you have questions, feel free to talk to us in the The Boards Moderation Discord or the Discuss the Boards sub-board.

With that being said though, unfortunately there is no such thing as 'loss forgiveness,' in cases of afk or intentional feeding. It's unfortunate, and I'm sure we'd all like for that to happen, but I'm sure it isn't being implemented because it would be very easy to manipulate the system like that with smurfs who intentionally feed or afk to boost their duo partners, as an example.

Much as it stinks to lose because of bad players, they are a fact of the game as much as anything else. Best thing to do is breathe deep, and push forward with your chin up. And if that's hard, taking a break is always an option too, since there's multiple ways to play League.

Wouldn't exploits like that be fairly easy to control? Simply watch IP's if there's multiple games in a row where 2 IP's engage in such behaviors. Just ban both. There's exploits for everything but that doesn't mean it's not something to be addressed; although, I do understand as it doesn't have an effect on the true competitive side it may not really be a priority. Also I understand that it would literally be impossible to implement something like this at lower ELO's due to massive number of players but what about just for top 5-6% and above?

To that last point, I would be concerned with the idea of high-elo favouritism, to be honest. Why improve the quality of a higher elo player's climb while basically saying the lower elos aren't cared for?

Not to mention, there is the question of manpower involved in implementing such a system. I know it's not rocket science, but a system like that doesn't come to fruition overnight, and there would likely be months of collaboration before such a system was even considered in PBE, let alone the main client.

And then there comes an issue of monitoring. There will need to be people involved in monitoring this, in some way or another. How large of a team is needed? What would their scope be? What if they make a mistake?
