Why is it that my team has 2 afk's and the enemy team had 1, until last second. Why can't we get loss forgiven for cases like this? we even had more kills and gold than them, but couldn't win a fight just due to numbers. This has happened to me several times and I don't understand why I have to lose lp for a match like this. Honestly if anyone goes afk, and its no longer a 5v5, I think loss forgiven should just be automatic. Its just a waste of time.

Just played two games in which I had 2 unranked players and 2 bronze players on my team while the other team had at least 3 silvers. What is this matchmaking? Impossible to climb out of elo hell

you never upgrade your trinket, just when you are in the jungle.
often you start to buy large rod on AP carrys and start to go for another item. Finish what you started.
There are so many things why you dont climp. And it's not about your teammates.

I filtered your ranked games for the games i looked at. From your match history i guess your main role is support?
First thing i see which you always don't buy is a sweeper (red trinket) after you got your sightstone. Think about the fact why YOU buy a sightstone. Because mapawarness is powerful. Get a sweeper and clean as much wards as you can, this takes power from your enemys.
The even better item is a pink ward. i looked 5 games up and you bought in 2 games one pink each. Think about: You get a ward, you clean of an enemy ward and this only coasts 75 Gold. Before green wards were taken off the game everyone bought them for 75 gold. Invest it in pinks now, they are more powerful and worth.
Overall i would say you use wards not often enough. in a 45 minute Thresh game you placed 18 wards. That's 1 ward every 2 minute and 30 seconds.
You always get ignite as a supporter, sometimes its better to go with exhaust to avoid burst damage. I am not talking about the early game where you lane with your adc. I talk about a matchup where you got a yasuo or zed in the game which will do infinity burst damage in the late game. If nobody in your team will go exhaust then you should do it.
If you see the higher advantage in a botlane matchup for the enemy then you should go exhaust also. Instead of a soraka match up, here you can go for your ignite to win the lane.
Why do you always buy the blue upgrade on the shoes? Gives you 20 % movement speed after flash for 1 second. Better go for the yellow one. 10 % movement speed for your nearby approaching allies.
A good thing is you play on bot nearly 95 % thresh and blitzcrank. You get a feeling for the hooks and your plays. What i dont like is the fact you play roulette in the jungle. Tahm, Jax, Master Yi, Trundle, Udyr, Shaco ... it's too much on a champ pool.
I try to concentrate on 2 champs for 2 lanes. You main one of them and go for the second if its banned or picked. I know its boring over time but its the way how you will perfect your gameplay overtime with this champ.
Since i am not a player which goes for supp often i can't help you with your item builds or the match ups as i would like to.

QjTHqo3RTq1 votesAlright to be honest, I saw the red trinket coming, and I've been doing my best to buy it more often, and I think I've made a good habit of it for now.
As for the pink wards, you're totally right, but it's a challenge to try mini max my items and forget to leave in 75 gold.
As for my warding habits, I'll ward up if I think we'll be in danger of getting a flank, or if a objective is about to go up, simply put, here in Bronze, it's my job alone to ward up an entire jg, which needs me to back every 3 minutes in order to do so. So if we're all mid lane, I'll save my wards should we result in a stalemate and I need to get vision of an area.
As for exhaust, I guess learning to trust my adcs and my team a bit more when handling themselves is going something I'll have to learn.
I take the blue upgrade for the summoner spell reduction, it stacks with cdr boots and the mastery, giving me a 180 second flash, which is invaluable as someone who flashes quite often to catch people out.
As for jungle picks, I know I'm guilty of switching around, but I like to play according to my teams needs, if we need high dps, yi it is, assassin, shaco, dominant jungle game? Udyr.

o Maui o1 votesUnfortunately giving loss prevented for ranked AFKs would open up the system to just a horrifying amount of abuse. Not only would you have to figure out how to balance the issue (does the winning team not get LP?) and how to deal with multiple queues protecting each other by taking turns AFKing in apparent losses, you also open the door to trolls trying to harass a teammate into quitting to save their own LP.
The thing to remember is: if YOU never disconnect, over a course of dozens or hundreds of games, AFKs will eventually start working in your favor since you have 25% more opponents than teammates, so a random disconnect is more likely to be on the enemy team.
