Overly Sensitive Community and Ridiculous Bans

Why. Why is this community so so overly sensitive. Really its getting crazy. If you even say GLHF you have a chance of getting banned. This is ridiculous. I just got 14 day suspension for literally nothing. It shows me my chat and I said nothing. A year ago my account was banned because I was toxic. I took a year off and come back now with a positive attitude, I always say glhf and gj and whatnot. Im not toxic and just ignore feeders.

I spend money on this game just to get banned because somebody is a sensitive little snowflake? Why would I bother spending another cent on this game knowing youll just take it all away like you did on my last account??? and 14 days you've got to be kidding me.

if you truly think that deserves a 14 day chat ban then you are over sensitive and that's just the truth. I spend money on this game instead of purchasing other games.... ill tell you what, other games don't ban people. My money is going else where from here on.

Hello. I think it's safe to say the majority of us here do not believe you received a 14-day suspension (which mind you means you have received warnings and chat restrictions in the past as well before being given this 14-day suspension) for saying "GLHF".

So if you would be so kind as to post your reform card, maybe we can determine why you're actually being punished and your poll could receive some slightly more accurate data.

That alone is enough to validate a report against you. It is harassment, and isn't even necessary. It only takes one report to get someone's match checked, and the system is not going to check any harder because they got more reports.

It's also just going to result in them getting even more toxic, which apparently happened and only snowballed from there because you kept the argument going by insulting them.

You also would've had chat restrictions prior to this. Did you think they didn't matter, or that when you completed them all your past reports would disappear? You had the opportunity to change but refused to.

While you might think this 14 day ban is unfair, know that the next step is a permaban. If you keep it up then imagine how unfair you'll think that is. Is insulting other people worth your account?

Oh come on that's not enough to earn a report, this is what I mean over sensitive. Its okay for Voli to autolock/troll but its not okay to call him out on trolling?

and youre right, its not worth losing the account.. I have another account Ill play on in the mean time learning new champs, and come back after the 14 days with a better attitude.

You don't have to agree, you just have to understand. Before you call someone out, ask yourself "Will this really help the situation?". Don't forget that as was already stated, multiple reports in a single match don't mean any more than a single one.

The fact that you were suspended for flaming a group you willingly partied with makes me shudder to think what you say to solo queue people...

I truly am not toxic. Like 1/20 games I get like the game above. Check my honors and teamworks etc, much more than anyone around my level. I really try to be the positive player on the team but sometimes I slip up. It happens. So for every 100 nice things I say, the one bad thing I say gets me banned?

If 1/20 of your games are as negative as the example you gave, you are ruining 5% of your games. This percentage is actually pretty high (higher than the vast majority of the community), so it's not entirely surprising that your behavior resulted in a punishment.

Did you have any prior chat restrictions or warnings?

So for every 100 nice things I say, the one bad thing I say gets me banned?

If you went 100 days without shoplifting then stole something on day 101, do you think the police would consider the previous 100 days or just the part where you stole?

I'm not necessarily equating the two concepts, it's just something to think about. Toxicity can't be excused by short-term history of non-toxicity, just like stealing can't be excused by short-term history of not stealing.

Dear god, I dream. DREAM AND PRAY to have a trolling percentage as good as his. 1 in 20 games is nothing! I would be in diamond by now if only 1 in every 20 of my games was being intentionally thown.

That's 6 lines. The entire rest (about 75% of the chatlogs) was either passive aggressive or a prime example of negative attitude.

Let's just say that I'm still pretty much on the fence about Riot's not-so-new-anymore strike system. Cases like this are the reason.

Still, I'll try to explain the thought process: Riot doesn't have the time to get to know every single offender, so they have to rely on statistics. And if the statistics show that people that exhibit your patterns of getting punished can't be dealt with via chat restrictions they will ban you. A logical way of dealing with things. But of course that will result in cases like yours, where a 14 day ban seems excessive.

14 day aint permanent. And that doesnt look like a complete log, nowhere near enough stuff, and Rioters arnt stupid. Theres no chance you got banned for just that. Trying to hide stuff acchieves nothing for you.

If that is the case than I agree that you didnt merit a 14 day. Maybe a chat restriction? Defidently not a 14 day. At least your season rewards wont be compromised since it is a 3 month deadline and season hasnt even STARTED yet. Just keep it in mind because the next step up is a permanent ban.

Clearly, as usual, we're missing the fully story here, however, you got to wonder, just from this chat someone has time to actually play with all that raging. This guy was invited it say? Why does he have troll friends on his friends list? I don't get it.

Please use the in client reform card, not the email, there should be more than one game.
