Everytime i play with this game it seems like no matter what i do someone just reports me for verb abuse. I've jus muted everyone talking smack to me, after i get reported, i talk to people in a peacful manner, still get reported, sometimes say something back, i can understand that. bt when i spend an entire game with my team muted, or just move my chat bar so far to the side i cant see it why am i gettin reported so many warnings
Verbal abuse reports get your chat logs scanned. If you aren't being toxic then the report won't hurt you.
The report notification pops up when you've had too many more than the average per game. It doesn't mean you'll get punished, just that you're getting reported a lot. With that said, if you're really getting reported that much there is probably some merit to them, and you should review your behavior just in case.
In general, don't use chat. Even if you try to help someone, like the MF who had 39 CS after like 20 minutes, who I told can't CS so can't ADC, watch Riot help videos.
Get reported! Game is just full of reporters who feel it's valuable.
It's probably because the first impression is the lasting one. It's hard to get back into the good graces of gamers when the first taste of you was a bit salty. :P Anyway I wouldn't worry about it because the logs are the logs, and they get reviewed. If you're really not that bad, I'm sure they aren't stupid to overlook that it's not even worth reporting. You'll have nothing to worry about. Some people are literally just report happy.
Same thing happened to me, I got perma banned. I even tried making a ticket about it and riot denied it saying they wouldn't release my ban. I even put MONEY on the account too...
This is a big problem and there are only two things anyone can do about it:
The report system is a popular way for toxic people to grief and threaten their teammates, and even players who don't think they are toxic, but are (a.k.a. ALL toxic players) will report you for just about any reason they feel like reporting you.
You will still receive "Verbal Abuse" notifications in games where you don't ever use the chatroom, but ignore them.
Keeps happening to me as well, though yesterday I got a message saying I've been improving my behavior and my account status was improved
