Current situation around a streamer known as Grossgore

Not a fan of gross gore by any means - I don't dislike nor like him, but this is bull crap. This is why Riot will inevitably fail as a game, possibly even as a company more and more people are quitting by the day/week/month, if you think the events have been lack luster and handled badly this year so far ; player behavior is handled even worse, and I'm not talking about people who are rude and saying the most offensive things I've heard, what I'm talking about is this type of player behavior.

And before Riot Lyte comes in and says "we've been targeting this type of behavior" Clearly you have not been targeting it because it's still happening, it's BEEN happening for this guy in masters/diamond and it's potentially screwing over his livelihood.

THIS has been happening to the dude for MONTHS on end and without a doubt he's probably contacted riot support long ago and the ticket is probably still open or he got an automated response and nobody cared to check it out.

Please don't give me that "Oh they have a lot of tickets" thing, I could send a ticket right now and they'd respond in 12-16 hours if not sooner or a little bit later even. This is absolutely disgusting.

//End rant, have a good day, Riot please pick up your crap and put it all together and put it somewhere, I don't care if it's in a bag or a crap museum but you need you pick it allllllll up and get it together for season 6, peace out.

Edit to clarify ; I know there are many others who are also dealing with this to some degree, possibly to an even worse degree but I feel like this needs to be brought up - I have nothing but love for those at Riot games and I would honestly hate to see them fail the way other gaming companies have, this game and community was special at some point and the fact pieces of crap like this get to roam free and constantly keep making accounts is even worse, these types of players are poisoning the river, they need to be taken out of this game permanently.

Support. I watch his stream and this literally happens to him every single day, multiple times. People made him the clown of the community but nothing is done about it. All the trolls are still free.

I remember GrossGore from when I played RS, but never really looked into his League stuff. Could anyone breakdown what has been happening to him?

Feeders have always been around and now they just upgraded the feeder detection and banning system. So, no I think we are fine for the future, thanks.

Read the text in the client from the video, look at the summoner spells. It happens to him constantly and those players never get punished regardless of video evidence.

LOL my eyes must be going haha...I understand now Thanks ! Yeah I got no answers for ya, so I won't even try :) Give ya an up-vote though, even if I believe Riot is working on this. I know it's not what you want to hear so .....yeah I'll leave it then. :)

EDIT: You know it is polite to type "EDIT" when you change more then half a comment to someone friend :) Since you added this after my reply to you I will answer for ya.

I didn't bring anything up about money (I think?)

The issue is, Riot as a company will start to decline rapidly if they start losing their player base to this sort of behavior. (Which they are losing players, yes there are lots of accounts but keep in mind there are alot of bot accounts, accounts on hold to sell, people who have quit and of course people who still play.

1st off I did say "As a side note" to indicate I was no longer speaking to you and I was speaking to another poster from this thread. Sorry, you misunderstood.

Holy shit he was really angry. He is lucky he didn't broke his hand.I mean i don't blame him.It must be hard to keep a cool face after that shit happening to you over and over.Specially if you don't deserve it.

ShaftyMegee11/9/2015, 8:59:37 PM1 votes

Well he lost, he let the trolls get to him. Yea that shit is fucked up and yea he probably doesn't deserve it. But what is riot going to do about that? They can't even track that chat because it's on another program.

I agree, I realize this is happening, but I'm not sure much can be done. Think of it like this, in a bigger spectrum. The system picks up an account that was flagged for toxicity and flaming during a match. The system see's that the person violated multiple offenses.

What actually happened: the person has never been like this before, and was having a horrible day. He may have lost a loved one, failed a test in school, or something else. He went on, was on tilt, and lost it.

The system can't know these things, so it does not give a permanent ban duo to risk of the player retaliating in some form, support ticket, boards, etc. Thus, after the ban, the player continues to play normally and non-toxic.

BUT

Some of not most of those cases the players actually ARE jackasses, and arent having a bad day. The system can't know for sure, so it is unfair to permaban. Because of this, players simply wait the temp ban and continue being they way they are. The only way to solve this is to sort by hand. League has grown too much, however, to be able to hand sort reports. Another situation is to just change it to perma ban those people, it's not like its gonna make a difference right? Less people who were toxic, more people who are nice, better community. Problem is, RIot is still a company. Companies have to focus on money, even if they dont intend too. Those accounts being banned is less customers, which statistically is not good. I'm not saying Riot is money hungry, every company has its ways of monetary gain, but Riot can't just do everything the community wants it too.

Examples like these are unacceptable, I know, Riot knows. But Riot has too much on their hands to worry about it. Only a small division of Riot focuses on these things, and they aren't able to cover one of the most played computer games in the world. I'm not sure the solution, I'm not sure that there is a solution.

Could anyone breakdown what has been happening to him?

^^ yeah, that link didn't help any still don't know what is happening :)

On a side note: Of course Riot cares about making money, if they didn't we wouldn't have a free game to play...I believe they stand out quite a bit to show that $ isn't there only concern though. If it were, then they would not be banning people who spend cash on the game.

...Just saying...not pointing at anyone in this thread :)
