I just want to know once and for all this info... Is asking for reports negative behaviour and bannable or not? Has riot ever said this? Thanks

Usually asking for reports is pretty frowned upon. Just report the person in the post game lobby, number of reports doesn't matter.

I didn't know that was punishable. I don't know why it would be. We aren't sheep.... so your words don't really hold any power to make others report someone.

I never do it, because asking the other team to report the person that likely helped them to win, is unlikely. If they do report them, it's most likely because of their toxicity in all chat towards the other players anyway. Most players genuinely want a decently pleasant play experience, so they'll report people who affect that.

I just wouldn't bother asking, if I were you, even if it isn't a punishable offense. It doesn't achieve anything, other than making the game go even worse for you.

The mute options work really, really well. That is likely the best feature Riot has ever implemented. Abuse it to it's fullest ;D

Well, if you spam with those requests, you might get lightly punished (if you never had previous suspensions that is).

But don't worry about that. Just remember to report them after the match, because one report is enough to raise a flag. Any number of reports above 1 in one match doesn't raise the severity of punishments.

Asking for reports is considered minor harassment. Do it often enough, one will get punished.

The typical intent for asking for reports is to threaten to punish other's account through volume of reports (the system doesn't work based on report volume, it works based on verification of consistency and severity), and no one wants to be threatened, which is why it is considered as harassment.
