14-Day Suspension for being bullied? Okay...?

So I played a game yesterday and played blind pick with 4 randoms, let everyone choose their roll and filled in adc with some support I never met. The support literally leaves lane and doesn't help me at all and I'm attempting to hold a tower against the enemies diving adc/support by myself. Over the course of 20 minutes I'm ending up going negative and 2-3 players on my team start bashing me, and I rebuttal them by saying well maybe if I had a support I wouldn't be getting pressed and double ultied to death every time I go into lane. The players on my team over the course of a 45 minute+ game do not stop bashing me. Not because of my behavior, but because I went negative in the 1v2 lane. They start name calling me, cursing at me, and be plain disrespectful and get the enemy team involved. I'll admit in the course of the whole game (I read the chat logs) I cursed twice, and they were in general, not directed towards anyone, after the other players have been laying it into me the whole game.

Without dragging this out too long, what is the basis on giving people suspensions/bans? Just because a bunch of kids raging that we were going to lose, literally cursing and name calling me, (which we didn't lose, I actually pressed their base and triple killed the enemy team by myself in the end for nexus) and I proved them wrong, they reported me. The entire conversation and the Riot staff could've read it from the game chat logs could tell, everything I said was in rebuttal to the nasty things they were saying to me first. Why am I the one getting the ban, sincerely confused and actually quite curious to hear a non-robotic explanation. Just because 2 guys on my team reported me for trolling cause I went negative, after being the world's biggest shmucks to me. And the enemy team doing the same, and then reporting me because I beat them in a couple of 1v1's before we finished the game. What's the basis?

The basis of your suspension was your behavior, and your behavior only. It does not matter if you were being flamed or if other players were doing bad, that is not an excuse to flame them (or retaliate against them).

The best thing to do is to mute and move on. There is no “rebuttal” needed if you mute them. You can continue the game free from having to read their abuse.

But that's what I'm trying to say, I didn't "flame them". When I say rebuttal I'm not saying I called them names back or went after them, my rebuttals included (oh well maybe if I had some help, maybe we'd be able to hold lane??) or (Well if I actually had a freaking support, who does nothing but b**** and moan, and actually helped me, we'd be controlling the game much better.)

^^^ that last statement is literally the worst statement (in sum and substance) I said in an hour of gameplay. And I'm not even gonna start with what they were saying to me to initiate that, because half of it would be blocked out by some censor system I'm sure is on the forums.

These are two of the biggest examples of parts that are blatantly unacceptable. Keep in mind it does not need to be flaming outright, but any negative attitude, arguments, or fighting can get you punished.

Alright I'll take your input for what it is, I'll learn from it, but once again I didn't use any language they didn't already use against me 10x fold. Then how can you report someone for being offended by language that you've already used yourself, it's just hypocrisy.

You don’t know who reported you. It was possibly (or even likely) another person on your or the enemy team that reported you. That is why I recommend just trying to not be negative at all. There’s no reason for you to act negatively towards others - it doesn’t really accomplish anyone and just results in everyone feeling rage/toxic after the game.

I hope you’re able to utilize the mute button more and improve - I think you can, it just takes a lot of effort.

After game they were very adamant about reporting me, it was my support, my mid lane, enemy adc, enemy support.

keep in mind my top lane was on my side, and so was the enemies jungle.

I understand they may have reported you, and it’s true that it’s hypocritical of them to do so. But this isn’t like an immunity situation - they don’t get immunity from punishment by reporting you, nor do you get immunity from punishment by reporting them.

I’ll also point out that people may try to be on your side during the game, but they may still have not enjoyed playing with you and silently reported you. Regardless, behavior that is unacceptable does not suddenly become acceptable when someone else does it, and/or when someone else does something worse.

I think you understand all this and I really do think you can improve, I’d just say lastly that you should try to be on your best behavior. If you have nothing game related to say, don’t say anything - you’re on thin ice after a 14 day suspension and the next one is permanent with no appeal.

It's not what your teammates did it's how you conducted yourself that's why 1 report is the same as 9. It sucks you got flamed but riot expects you to have the adult mentality enough to mute and not feed the troll.

They initiated conversation about K/D meaning everything, and that I wouldn't be able to 1v1 anyone.

That's the way the system works now! Feeders and trolls get away with murder while the bystander gets hit with stray bullets of bans. Meanwhile Mr AFK and Mr Troll enjoying his next game doing the same things. But because you typed your the blame!
