Normals are the most toxic environment on the internet.

As you may be able to tell from my username, I'm a support main. I've climbed a hell of a lot these last two seasons, thanks to a combination of the new system giving me support 95% of the time and me finally getting to an elo where my team exists.

I'm now diamond. And I can't play normals.

Every normal game I'm queued in is a mixture of unranked-gold, with the occasional plat. There is no question I deserve to be here. I don't support in normals. As it's been nearly 2 years since I've actively played any other role, I'm unquestionably bad at them. I also tend to play off meta stuff. AD Malz. Nunu top. AP Trynd. Bot lane Azir.

The combination of me playing on this account and playino nonmeta stuff leads to an unbearable amount of flame. At least two people a game harass me about being boosted. When I /mute all, the ? pings start. It's unbearable.

So I made a new account. I figured I would level up a second account, despite owning every champion on my main. I thought this would be more fun since there would be no rank to live up to.

Holy shit. I feel so bad for new players. Normal low level games are full of the most obnoxious, toxic players I can imagine. They don't stop flaming when they're 0/5 and every one of them clearly got their Silver V main banned and have come to harass the noobs.

Honestly makes me want to quit the game. If I was new I'd have quit within 10 games. Never encountered another game like this. No other MOBA, no other MMO, nothing. It's horrible.

A bit too over dramatic, and exaggerated title. We both know it's not the most toxic, but I understand the frustration. Granted it was years ago, but I personally leveled up in bot games years ago so there was barely any toxicity for me.
