I GOT LEAVER BUSTERED :-(

So uh... this is embarrassing.

I left some games a few weeks back. I think it was four ranked games total in the course of a week. I had an awful event happen in my family that caused me to leave a couple due to unexpected fallout later on in the week (crying wife, important unexpected phonecalls, etc), and a premade group of trolls drove me out of the other two due to real life stress I just didn't want to put up with it. If the game wasn't fun, I didn't want to deal with it.

Whatever. Not excuses. I deserved the penalty because rules are rules. I got 5 games of 5 minute low priority queue. And I served them, np.

Fast forward to maybe 20 games later two weeks later. Haven't left a game since (I usually don't leave games, I just left a bunch in a short time because of those reasons above). So saying "Haven't left a game since" seems redundant to me, because it's not my thing to begin with.

Anyhow... the other night my internet dropped. This NEVER happens. Like ever. I've maybe DC'd from 3 games ever in my 4-5 years of playing league. It's super rare.

Log back in when it comes up: Boom. 5 games of 10 minute low priority queue.

Does my leaver status ever go away? Or is this going to happen every time I DC from a game forever? How many games does it take to offset those games I left?

This isn't a plea for the penalty to be removed, I get why I got it. This is a request for info so I can stop stressing every time I queue that I might DC or the power might go out our a car might crash into the pole in front of my house or the dog might eat the router... etc.
