Riot Banning System

I really do not enjoy how the league community has turned out almost every match contains a toxic player that just flames and thinks that they are the best in the world. They just curse, taunt, etc excessively. I really disrupts the game play because they just want the attention probably. I wish there people would just get banned forever so the league community could be a nice friendly place and everyone can just enjoy the game. 3 of people on the enemy team were flaming their team and cursing everyone in the match out. TheBraum ,Ezreal , and the Vayne were excessively cursing and S**t talking for a majority of the match. At the end of the match the Braum even said that riot will not ban him. But back to the main point people who are just toxic and make the game not playable for other people should be perma-ban, because if they are toxic once there is a good chance they are going to be toxic again, so why not just ban them so that this can't happen. I wish Riot would take this more seriously and try to make the league community more user friendly instead of it being a toxic wasteland, for people who just wanna take out their anger on other players and pretty much ruin the game for everyone else.

I know people are saying that toxic players get "banned" for toxic talk, etc. They would usually get chat banned for 3 reports. etc. But I feel like this should be much harsher if the player is more toxic then normal. When they are un-chat banned and they continue there toxic talk there should be a much harsher implament, such as a perma ban. I know this is not a good example but Tyler1 got perma banned for excessive toxic play, and talk. People like this should be definitely banned forever.

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION BUT LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THE WHOLE SUBJECT.

Actually, alot of people get fustrated with Riot as they don't "see" that their reports are doing anything, thus percieving that the reporting system does nothing.

When they do that, they just think nothing will happen and continue being toxic.

Regretably, Riot's communication on the reform system isn't the greatest and not enough of the player base know how the system works. You see these perception all the time:

  • Riot system does nothing, therefore no point to report / that report does nothing against me
  • If I got punished, why didn't they get punished as well?
  • Permabanning me after a 14-day is too strict
  • the system doesn't punish others, so I have to step up and deal with it myself (being toxic to others and tell them to stfu in a horrible manner)
  • Got group reported against others

Alot of this boils down to the visibility of the punishment system, where alot of the times, we as players are in the dark of who is getting punished and what is punishable. Making people doubt the system and asking questions like; did their reports do anything to me? Why isn't this guy punished? It also makes them start questioning Riot to things like "This season is more toxic than before", when they truth is that toxicity is dropping.

The good thing is that Riot has put improving behavioral visibility on a pretty high priority list in terms of features to ship, that being said, we won't get anything until the new client is up and running smoothly.
