So recently I got disconnected from a ranked game as Ashe, but later on I reconnected again. However when I logged back in I found that I had been hit with a LeaverBuster penalty, and a 20 minute one at that. I feel like this is a little harsh as I didn't mean to quit, and as far as I can remember I haven't left any games for a long while...or is that just the way leaverbuster works? Can someone explain it to me? Thanks. (Does a remake count as a leave? I was part of two game that got remade recently, even though I was not the one who AFKed)

If you leave even for 5 minutes its considered a disadvantage to your team, like my last match as fiddle sticks in a ranked game we were losing so hard, someone was so fed, he left for 5 minutes then they lost

game > minutes 3 ( cant remake )==> if we AFK or DC about 2-3 minutes. Leaver buster system start recording. Each game stacked.

However, shouldn't the low priority queue time go down after you play a lot of games and you didn't leave? I mean it's been a long time and I immediately get hit w/ 20 mins?

we don't know how leaver buster system algoritm . i wonder if there are decay time. As far as i know .. its keep stacking record , decay only happen when punishment 5 times + 20 min finished PLUS -- we keep up clean record from another afker (reported afker) about 1-20 games . we will get notification similar to this one ---
