My Final League of Legends Account, Riot's New Behavior System is Flawed

(Sadly I didn't take screenshots considering I never thought I'd get perma banned for this, but my team said vulgar things too me and rallied for reports end-game lobby with probably no consequence. I sent in a ticket and asked someone to investigate that games logs but I'm sure it'll just be replied with an automated support message saying there is nothing they can do for me. But anyways here's my logs and some things I added at the end with my thoughts. If nothing is done for my account this will be the last one I ever have. Please share your thoughts on this.)

(My Message to the Support)

Okay Riot Games, Your automated bots love to perma ban people. The instant it received the reports I was banned 2 minutes later. Now please tell me where I was toxic, besides being a bit passive aggressive and the only thing I truly said which was to tryndamere was that he was bad. But that was only after he repeatedly flamed me and cursed at me along with my other team mates. My entire team proceeded to report me and rally for reports in the end-game lobby.

Assuming I'll probably get a response in about 5 days from one of your automated messages I should probably just post on the boards or reddit but hey I'll give it a shot maybe someone from Riot will see this and actually investigate. I have a feeling nobody will actually check this out my team flamed and said vulgar things too me when the only actual toxic thing I said all game was "ur bad" and I talked about his win rate please tell me how that classifies as being toxic.Sure I was negative but everyone has those games where they are having a bad game but I did not be toxic enough for a perma ban come on Riot. If you guys can't unban me or do anything for me I'm simply quitting League of Legends.

Im not really sure what you are confused about. You spent entire game blaming your teammates for everything. ADC for his picks, top laner for "ruining your jung rotation", threatening with reports, calling people kids cause they dont wanna surrender... Being negative whole game. This isnt "passive aggressive". This is toxicity.

Report threats, also if you have multiple perma banned accounts why would you think its a good idea to report call, call allies bad, and non-stop bash them? The system is flawed because it allows you to rejoin with MULTIPLE perma banned accounts.

Ehm, I don't see what you're wondering about.

And by the way...it doesn't matter a single bit what your teammates said. I've been playing since November 2009, I've never had a ban, I've never had a chat restrict and I'm chatting quite a bit in most of my games and it's not like I'm thinking about what I write all the time. If you were in my game and talking like this I'd be so pissed off that you'd get a report for Unsportsmanlike conduct 100%. If your teammates were even worse regarding what they've said they'd get one too.

This is just the same thing I've heard from friends who got banned:" But they were shittalking me all the time/They were so freaking bad/They deserved it etc."

Btw: I was in the tribunal and yeah, I'd vote punish if we still had tribunal.

If you had gotten banned back then, you would have also used the excuse "the tribunal is unfair"

ill give you a free tip, dont flame. just feed them like them. they will flame you and you can ban them. you dont get banned, when you feed intentional. they call it "bad game" when you are 0-1000 in the first 10 minutes.

Other people have already explained to you why you got banned so I'll just leave these here for you to read. From the Instant Feedback System FAQ:

WHY WAS I PUNISHED WHEN THE OTHER PERSON WAS WORSE OR STARTED IT!

  • Simply speaking, retaliation is not an acceptable or justifiable behavior. An argument between two players can easily create a negative experience for the rest of the players in the game with you. Regardless of the other player’s actions, this does not justify your own behavior. You alone are responsible for your actions within the game. If you encounter a toxic player like this, the best option is to simply report their behavior and move on.
  • Reports are a vital piece to the puzzle. If you are not sure of what sort of behavior is reportable take a look at the Reporting a Player FAQ

From Understanding the Tribunal:

4) That player in my game was far worse than me. Why am I banned??? a) I'll keep this one simple: retaliation isn't OK. Reacting to a toxic player by being toxic just incites that player to be even worse--it also ruins the game for up to 8 other players. It is far, far worse to watch two people yelling at each other all game than it is to watch 1 player ranting into blank space. Almost everyone in the game can find someone out there that behaves worse than they do--but so what? Finding someone worse doesn't justify your behavior or justify retaliation. We expect more out of our players. What players often don't realize is... those other players in your game that you thought were worse? Nearly 100% of the time, those players were banned even before you were. If someone is being toxic, just report them and move on. If you retaliate, both of you will be banned. It's really that simple.

Actually, Erdrik is correct here.

A report flags a game for review. They do not establish guilt. The game is then reviewed for harassment, feeding, etc. This is why 'troll reporting' or 'gang reporting' do not work. False or inaccurate reports are thrown out.

You cannot ever be punished for saying nothing .. unless of course it's for something gameplay related like feeding, afking or cheating. But, you can never be punished for offensive language, hate speech or verbal abuse if you said nothing.

People always fail to see that other peoples actions do not excuse their own. Riot doesn't care what your teammates said when it comes to your punishment. You'd probably be okay if you told Trynd he as bad 1 or 2 times but you did excessively throughout the match.

Boy, I've been playing this game since S1, off and on, and I might not be good at it, but I know you aren't remembering things correctly.

When the Tribunal was a thing, most members on it clicked the punish button without even bothering to read the cases. Because there were a lot of them.

It was a TL;DR system in which players had more power than they could handle responsibly.

So it was scrapped in favor of an automated and unbiased system that punishes obvious offenses within five minutes of incoming reports. Less obvious cases are reviewed for more severe punishments. And every player has a hidden score that determines if their previous reports are valid or not. This rating stays at or above normal so long as they don't submit too many false reports. So if a trustworthy player with a positive reputation submits an accurate report then the likelihood of a player receiving a just and fair punishment increases.
