"Kill yourself"

Riot, Why would a toxic player who continuously berated a player, including telling them to "kill yourself," not be permabanned?

Pretty sure that was in a permaban list. Your system is broken. But, of course, you will never admit that. That line alone should have been grounds for an instaban.

So if I were to tell you to "kill yourself," I wouldn't be removed from the boards or put on a ban list, correct?

Dude, like half the threads on the front page of this forum are people complaining about getting banned for saying "kys". It is clearly aggressively punished.

If you found somebody who got away with it, they're an exception, not the rule.

It actually gets you an instant 14-day ban despite being a otherwise super positive honor level 5 player that never had any history of toxicity. They ban it SUPER aggressive. Waaaay to aggressive actually.

Dont lie, I tested this out on one of my trash accounts. I said "My team told me to kys, please report". As a test to see if id get banned for saying it.

8 minutes after that game i got a 14 day ban. No 10/25 game chat restriction, just a straight up 14 day ban for saying "kys", but the computerized report system took it out of context.

Do your job and report players like that.

If you do run a foul, I'll make sure to report you.

Riot staff is also filled with these very same toxic players. Come on, this should be common sense. Whole game has had these very same arguments since its release. Years later I see the same thing.

Yeah they get banned for good. Also maybe dont use that as your post's title.....just in case someone mistakes it for being an insult post.

No, because filtering things from chat and/or boards becomes an escalating war; for every thing they remove, people find two or more ways to evade the filter. Rather than waste time with that, Riot put effort into moderation instead.
