I played a normal game with a bunch of diamond/plats. Our mid was a silver II. He refused to group with the team and argued with us.

After the game I called him a silver kid. Boom chat ban.

Yep not a single insult. Our veigar literally never grouped with us. He sat there and argued with us. At the end of the game I said "silver kids".

Pointing out somebody's rank is wrong now? We were a game of all plats/diamonds and he sat there and argued with us post game about how we were all wrong. Jesus. I realize I should have just kept quiet, but this is a very MILD chat log and most of stuff was me talking to other teammates who were asking what we should do. THERE WAS LITERALLY NOTHING WE COULD DO WHICH IS WHAT I SAID.

You did a lot more than just pointing out someone's rank. If you can't see that, then you will never improve or reform.

There were no diamond/plats on your team. There were two golds (you being one of the golds), two unranked, and the silver that you were rank shaming.

FYI: Rank shaming is against the rules.

I do not condone it, as I don't condone companies punishing people for text. But that is the rule and you must follow it.

Its not even that your were insulting anyone or flaming much, its really just that you were complaining. Although riot would probably never admit it, they absolutely chat ban someone for complaining.

Source: i lost my season rewards this year because i got a chat ban in May with two games shown as the "reason for" logs, and in both it showed me merely complaining that a sona and caitlyn were suiciding in lane/the enemy jg on purpose.

So yeah... dont complain, they ban that crap too apparently.

See that's the thing. I don't argue that my chat was negative. It deserved a 10 game chat ban I suppose. Which ultimately just serves as a warning. An entire level of honor reduced though is simply absurd. There's not even a warning in this game now lol. Its draconian as fuck.
