What does anyone have to do to get unbanned from streaming League? Just curious.

Riot can't ban people from streaming League.

Riot can ban people who stream League from playing League. Riot can ban anyone from playing League.

If I'm not mistaken, "they" can ban people from streaming League. Tyler1 was banned from the game, and as well as from streaming himself playing the game at Twitch.TV. By "they", I think it's really considered Twitch.TV that can ban people from streaming League of Legends. Riot was the reason for this rule's creation, though.

You probably were aware of this, but the fact you did not clarify this, for the sake of other readers, made me believe you were not aware of the information I typed above. So that's why I typed this comment just in case. This also assume I am correct about the information above as well.

I don't think I understand what you're getting at. Riot only has control over Riot.

Twitch is free to ban whoever they want from using their services, but Riot neither controls nor affects Twitch decisions.

Tyler1 will be banned from Twitch.TV if he streams himself playing League of Legends. That's the rule, if I'm not mistaken. That rule came to existence because Riot got together with Twitch and created the rule. So, with that said, Riot did have an effect on Twitch's decision/rules... assuming I'm right in the first place. If Riot did not interfere, Tyler1 could stream and play LoL anytime until his LOL account get banned (he's still considered indefinitely banned by Riot on League of Legends); if he has more LoL accounts, he could still continue.

Sorry if my post is unclear, it's why I rarely type on most topics. >.<

I can understand that to an extent. I can't, however, find any rule that says anyone will be banned for playing a particular video game. Do you have a link to that rule?

Furthermore, I can't find any rule on Twitch that explicitly relates to Riot. I can only find this:

Uploading any content that you do not own, do not have the rights to, or are otherwise not authorized to use, violates our Terms of Service and may make your account liable to DMCA takedowns by third-party rights holders.

Playing League while banned likely falls under "uploading... content that you... are otherwise not authorized to use". Again, that has nothing to do with Riot, but is a Twitch rule that's a standard rule for most rebroadcasting sites (YouTube and other similar sites have similar rules/policies).

I'm just asking if you can provide any source that Twitch has any sort of special rule for/with Riot. I have yet to see any evidence of that.

That's the closest rule Twitch has to any rule prohibiting someone from playing League while they're banned.

I'm going to assume that what you mean is not technically being banned from streaming League, but being banned on sight (which makes streaming next to impossible without getting the account banned).

There is no simple answer, though. These punishments are so rare that Riot judges those cases individually. One case I know there is absolutely nothing that person can do... other cases it was enough to simply keep a good record and be apologetic about what got them punished. Soooo... unless you were to admit that this is related to Tyler (or anybody else that is indefinitely banned, really) it's really not possible to give a proper answer.
