Are people unaware of the policy against hate speech or something?

You're playing a ranked game and the team doesn't do exactly what you say at all times. You're score is pretty bad but no one is raging at you for anything. Suddenly you start calling people every piece of hate speech in the game with full caps lock. You win the game in spite of all those horrible things you said about your team that happens to be better than you, and you all chat in caps "GG EZ REKT RETARDS"

How can you not realize your account will probably be permabanned? How can you let yourself go that far down the hate train that you spend the entire game throwing hate speech at your own team just to turn around and says gg ez?

Do you have a god complex? Are you that mentally ill and sadistic that you believe raging at a team to that extent will somehow justify your behavior if you win in spite of it all?

You people who throw that kind of caps lock bullshit at people all game make this game really annoying to play, because when you also threaten to feed if we don't conform to how you want to play, you really can't be a good teammate in any sense.

You're either toxic to me all game, or I mute you and in your effort to put me in my place you threaten to feed on top of being an unbearably insufferable douche.

Please, stop using chat as your personal trash vent. A little bit of flame is normal, but this? This is beyond humane.

I suspect in a number of cases, the player has normalized that type of language at home or with friends. They play while sitting at a computer at home and it simply never occurs to them they are, effectively, in a public space while in game. Or the game is heated and they forget to moderate their language. I mean, just look at how often you see "But I say it to my friends all the time!", "I was talking to my friends, not the random!", and similar excuses on these boards.

Not everybody is familiar with Riots system. Why would you expect anyone to be? Most games don't have punishment systems nearly as strict as Leagues.

It isn't consistent. Some people get banned for saying it ONE time. Other people commit the offense regularly and others even have it in their name. This lack of consistency is what makes the whole system retarded.

If specific words are THAT offensive, then it would be unretarded for Riot to implement a global censorship on, "those" words. There is far less hassle to just censor it.
