Is this bannable my brand supp just stood at my turret the whole laning phase and didn't leave its radius. I thought he was a bot before is starting spam taunting. He didn't use one spell but flash. The only reason he got any assist is because he bought thornmail and sold it before the game ended. It was so sad since we could of won the lane if he helped poke them. I do not know how leaver buster didn't go off. So thanks for listening to my rant. Can anyone tell me if this is bannable.

Technically, yes. But the automated system does a very poor job at catching that kind of stuff and its very unlikely he would be punished.

Nope riot doesn't do anything about trolls and afks if you said anything to him in chat though riot will ban you cause they have no common sense are are sensitive.

I sympathize with you, and I also wish that these kinds of players would receive some sort of penalty. At least he wasn't actively contributing to the enemy team. As difficult as it is to win a 4v5, it's even worse to try to win a game where someone is 0/7/0 at 15 minutes, since not only are they useless to their team, they've actually given the enemy gold. I don't have any great suggestions for how to fix the kind of situation that you describe (like you said, it seems like something LeaverBuster or another background tool should have detected), but I do have a suggestion for fixing cases for where the Brand goes 0/13/1 instead of 0/2/1. Considering your concern for desire to keep the game enjoyable, I would recommend checking it out. P.S. I suspect that a possible source for the downvotes on your post is that there is no way for people to verify your claim that this game you described happened. Normal matches (which this game was, apparently) aren't publicly visible, so it helps if you put a link to the game in your post.

I would argue that he is actively contributing to the enemy team. Without his extra poke and possibly tanking (even if only a few hits here and there) he is giving them an easy 2v1 as well as sapping half the experience.

Well... I think that's stretching the meaning of the word "active" a bit, but I understand what you mean about wasting half of a lane's XP. That's a good point. Given that you would report said player, I don't think it'd be going out on a limb to conclude that 1) you'd also report that player if he died a dozen times over the course of a 25-minute game without garnering anything more than a single assist, and that 2) you'd like to see that kind of player more consistently penalized. After all, a player who isn't even trying to stay alive really isn't fully participating in the game. If those are true, I'd recommend checking out the post I mentioned in my previous comment.

No, I don't report high deaths unless it is very obvious they are intentionally feeding. Someone who is dying a lot just by being outplayed is still participating. Someone who doesn't use autos or help tank at all is not participating as much as everyone else is, there's really no argument against it.

And yes it's not the definitive meaning of active, but in a game like LoL every little action or inaction matters. I wouldn't call it 'passively' contributing to the enemy team unless they are doing something like not taking advantage of a gank fully or not trying their hardest to win, which is really hard to actually measure/determine. It's not hard at all to see when someone is standing back behind minions not attacking, not contributing, and that is why I call it actively assisting the enemy team.

Whether it's a bot or not, I would report if they are not participating in the game fully (not attacking or tanking at all) because it's almost as bad as being AFK. Even as support your autos can have a major impact on the game. I mainly play support and I kind of SMH when I see supports who barely auto the whole game 'cause im support'..

Although I'm kind of suspicious the person in your game was a bot. I've had quite a few unconventional supps lately doing this where they stand a few feet behind me/minions and don't do anything except maybe a spell or two, then randomly spamming emotes.
