absurd chat ban

I got a 10 game chat ban for yelling back at a dbag veigar who let ahri shit all over our team because he refused to ping or refused to follow but at the same time was a smart ass to our team when she got kills off roams. how I get a chat ban off that game is absurd not like I spent entire game flaming I said my piece and moved on, it amazes how this game encourage little shits like him to continue to play like a douchbag and then get to report people after the game because riot treats its player base like delicate little flowers. I have been playing this game since season 3 and hardly ever have any issues and have never been banned so clearly I'm not a toxic player but I open my mouth in 1 game and I get a chat ban what a joke.

This is likely why you got chatbanned. Just because your veigar is flaming doesn't mean you have a right to flame him back.

playing bad isnt the as being toxic and verbally abusive.

you cant be reported for being a bad player.

there are lots of bad players.

you got banned for being verbally abusive and toxic.

Say your piece if you like, just keep in mind that if you resort to similar behavior you leave yourself open for punishment.

In most cases, it's best to simply not respond at all and let them burn themselves out. It takes a bit of self-control, but it's not difficult.

Typically you don't get punished for one game, and there should be a history of you being validly reported.

That being said, the visibility of the behavioral system can use some improvements. Especially the reform cards. Riot is working on making that improvement, but it won't happen until after the new client is up and running.
