reports and bans are ineffective

I've been trying to increase my rank and escape bronze a lot more recently and have come across a disturbing trend. The people causing the most problems in games and being toxic most often, don't care about a report, suspension, or even a perma-ban. I see things like "I'll just get on a different account or make a new one". I am wondering if we will ever see something enacted that gets rid of the people causing the issue instead of just closing out an account that they obviously don't care about in the first place.

The thing is it's suppose to make them quit because you shouldn't want to level up an account from the ground up! Plus riot watches very closely on low level accounts especially on smurfs!

But of course you'll get people like this, eventually they'll get tired and quit entirely!

Reports and bans are effective. Read the number of posts by people who were banned.

Just because a troll says they don't care in game doesn't mean the don't care. They're just trying to make you think reports don't work so you won't report them.

Imo. Riot needs to start dealing with the real causes of toxicity instead of throwing more and more carrot and stick at it. Trolls. feeders. Flamebaiters . Being trapped in a game for 20 minutes with 9 other people just as egotistical and competitive as you. we have reached a threshold where carrot/stick wont fix it. and it will become worse and worse until riot get thier head out of thier ass
