Why doesn't Riot! give REAL rewards for being friendly/helpful etc?

Like, if they made it to where friends couldn't give each other the thumbs up and made the reward saaayyyyy a free CUSTOM skin only for people with certain amounts of points, I think that would whip people into shape a lot faster.

Thoughts?

Because being nice is common courtesy and something this basic shouldn't require an incentive

Giving away free skins loses money.

Banning players gains money.

Cos they are trying to finish the new client first.

If someone isn't afraid of being banned and losing everything, I don't think they will be a positive player for a skin. Just sayin'.

Anyway, an updated Honor Initiative is something they can do when they no longer have to focus on the League Client Update. Very possible we can see some progress this year.

Why do people want/need rewards to be friendly/helpful? ...

I would say a free summoner icon instead of skin. Riot makes money from selling skins. Though we need a lot more of friendly/helpful people out there. But I would like the initiative of a reason to have more friendly/helpful people in games because there will be less population of trolls and jerks. I hate people calling other people noob and the bm. Come on where is the gg?

because it's farmable considering the requirement is simply to not be friends.

it will be the same thing when they had the refer-a-friend thing with the WW and Twitch skins.
