Stop complaining, getting punished was your consent
Imagine visiting someone, and that person has a huuuuge sign on his door, saying 'No blue clothes allowed inside'. You and your neighbor want to enter his huge house, but there's a little problem: you are wearing blue underwear and your neighbor's clothes are all blue. Blue shirt, blue coat, blue trousers and shoes and bracelets and hat and whatever.
OK, you both enter. You know that your neighbor will SURELY be punished or yelled at for breaking the rules - hey hey, he's wearing blue all over!
The house's owner comes downstairs and, as expected, starts yelling at your neighbor and prohibits him from visiting his house ever again. And then, the unexpected happens: that grumpy owner starts beating you for wearing blue underwear. You start crying and ask yourself 'why? this is not fair! My neighbor only got yelled at.... and I'm getting beaten FOR LESS? COME OOOOON my underwear is not even visible!'.
So you go to the city council and you complain about this unfair treatment, and the counil answers: 'Yes, yes. But you DID read the sign saying no blue clothes, right? We don't care about how unfair this is. You started it. You broke a rule you knew about, bye'.
Let me explain: the house is LoL. You and your neighbor are 2 LoL players: the neighbor is a veeery toxic guy who constantly spams insults and racist words, and you are a player that sometimes answers to them with 'report X for toxic, GG, stop flaming pls, report', which, in your opinion, is NOTHING compared to your neighbor's flame. It's just a blue underwear, cmon Rito. AND YOU ARE RIGHT. That blue underwear from my story is less of an insult to the rules that 100% blue clothes. However, when you enter that house, you know the rules. You clearly know that blu thingies are prohibited. IF YOU GO THERE AND WEAR BLUE WHATEVER, the house's owner won't care about how bad your neighbor is acting. Him wearing blue clothes doesn't mean that the house owner will forget or forgive your darn blue underwear.
So guys, stop complaining about gtting banned for a minor insult such as 'kiddo, b5 player, stupid midlaner'. They might seem minor, but when you start your LoL match, you agree with the rules, even if they're unfair for you. Getting the same punishments as a super toxic racist guy is unfair sometimes, but there are the rules. If you want to play LoL, then respect them. If they're too stingy for you, then quit. Sorry for being harsh.
2 months ago I got chat-restricted for saying 'rep mid for flame, stfu kid' like 4 times, while my midlaner was calling me an idt, stid, braindead b**ch. It was self-defense, kinda... Yes, subjectively, I still think it was unfair, but OBJECTIVELY speaking, it was fair. I consented to getting punished even for something minor like that, because that's what the Summoner's Code says. I'm not complaining. I suggest you do the same, and stop spamming the Boards with 'omg I got banned for XYZ'.
