@Riot Is the Tribunal cancelled?
The Tribunal has been "in maintenance" for a long while and I just want to know if Riot has confirmed it to be dead and gone forever.

i hope so. i'm tired of getting banned every other week
Since Lyte left I th8nk they canceled the project. Twncent cares only about money not toxicity.

The instant feedback system was put in place to replace the Tribunal. You can read Ghostcrawlers status of the new Tribunal here. As far as the Tencent only cares about money, yes they are a majority share holders, they want money. They aren't gaining any money by not bringing the Tribunal back.

Sadly Tencent already owns 100% of Riot Games. You can google the articles. But thanks for the link. I am sad Tribunal is gone :C

Tencent owns all of the market shares in Riot games, they don't actually own the company though. Tencent also owns majority stakes in Epic Games (unreal engine) and Activision/Blizzard. People love to paint Tencent as this big evil company, but there are companies like this all over the world.
The Tribunal got replaced by the Instant feedback system. The above link gives the progress of the new tribunal.
This was one of the biggest things I've looked forward to since they started work on moving the NA servers. Really hoping to see some progress with it next season.
As others already pointed out, strictly speaking "Tribunal" is the system they currently have in place. That said, Lyte had plans for giving the system an "interactive" part, where the community would once again more directly voice their opinion on what behaviour should not be accepted. He said he'd start working on it once the new champion select was finished... but I'm pretty sure now that Lyte is gone it has at the very least been pushed back even further.
Most teams at Riot right now are focusing their efforts on the League Client Update. I'd wait and ask about it after the update launches, you'd probably get more accurate info then.
