New Attitude towards pre-mades?

I have recently started playing league semi regularly after two years of not that much play time. Coming back to it I find league to be anti-team? As in I am being punished for playing with my real life friends. First I find that ranked teams no longer exist. We can't all play together in ranked because some are too high buts that is a different issue. We are super rusty as a Team, I get it. Items and champion reworks galore and a couple of us are still re learning the game. But whats this attitude of disgust towards a premade group? Its like people are genuinely angry that people try to play with their friends. If we don't have a full team the fill ins usually whine and harass us. Which I know that existed before. But NOW there is also like enemy teams attitude towards premade? If we win, its a lot of not fair we are not premade and this guys sucks. If we loose we are getting called trash for being a premade and not destroying the other team. It just doesn't feel like league is set up to promote positive team play. Like it is a team game right? Playing with your real friends is what people like to do right? Maybe I just don't remember it, but league feel way more toxic than 2 years ago. The worst part is it feels like I can not do anything about it. We loose a lot, people put my teammates down for literally no reason (you are winning, why the hate?). Reading the posts where people complain about bans and seeing the down votes and comments is a little uplifting, but you do not see people standing up for anyone inside the game.

It's because Riot shoved premades down our throats in season 6. We still have a bad taste for them.

Honestly, my view towards premades is that they don't communicate with the one who isn't apart of their premade.

They also tend be to quite toxic if you even speak once. I get paranoid in champion select now, because if I ever speak I just get ganged up on.

It could just be because I'm Gold 5, and you know, it's low elo, and everyone here is toxic, and ignorant.

But that's just my piece on it. Premades, don't communicate, they are also toxic.

Part of it is when you're playing a game and the whole team is flaming you and blaming you for mistakes they made.. then you realize they're premade and that's why they're being that way. That doesn't mean every premade is gonna be like this, but generally the most toxic and annoying games i had were when there was at least 2 premades. I'm sure there are plenty of premades I played with that never said anything negative, but the toxic ones stand out and sometimes ruin the entire experience.

Other part is that the matchmaking inappropriately assumes that 'premade' automatically means we have to make this match way harder to win. 5 Bronze solo queue might only face 1 gold enemy, but if 5 premade bronze, there's a good chance the entire enemy team will be gold or higher.

I hesitate to queue with friends because it's almost guaranteed the enemy team is going to be way better than us if we do premade. It's really sad

This is why Flex Queue exists.

Blame Dynamic Queue for making S6 Ranked into a complete and utter joke.

If we don't have a full team the fill ins usually whine and harass us.

3- to 4-man premades were extremely common last season in Ranked. It understandably sucked to be the odd man out in that situation because:

  • You became the scapegoat unless you were outright carrying the team
  • You didn't get to participate in team communication (since the premade would just use voice chat)
  • The enemy team would often identify the lone players and focus ganks on them during the laning phase (to turn the premade against them and reduce the risk of counter-ganks).
