I mean, I really want to sort back through and find some of my salty jokes after a successful enemy gank and stuff. Or you know, being able to count how many times I've said "You know, I'm still laughing," as Lux support after getting caught out. (Plus hey, Riot. I think I'm a positive member of the community. Give me free stuff)

If you're talking about chat logs from standard games, not the chat logs that are issued to a player from a behavioral ban, I don't believe there's a way.

Well, if you go into the key bind section you can show a big chunk of the chat. I have this key bound to 3 on my number pad
I don't think you can see your chat logs in context but if you get punished, you'll get a log of the offense. Riot has backed down from this though stating that sometimes it's just a random one which was part of the case and not necessarily what's actually being punished. This is quite misleading imo and kind of defies the purpose of offering evidence.
